My friend, I don’t know you, but I will write to you directly and confidently: this mod is amazing.
In combat and in the campaign, this mod actually feels different than the original version or the modifications that other mods offer.

My first experience with this mod was not very successful: my Hittite generals on chariots were dying like flies due to my improper command of them. I also had to rethink my approach to global strategy as a whole.

Now I never rush forward towards conquests. First, I develop military science and build advanced barracks.

I noticed that archers now play a more significant role than usual. And of course, chariots are simply magnificent (just don’t throw a chariot general into battle!).

This game is minimalistic in the sense that this mod does not offer hundreds or even thousands of new units, as some well-known mods do. But I don't take this as a minus. Since there is a lot of work behind this minimalism, and, I repeat, in terms of gameplay, this mod differs from the original and many other mods.

Overall, I really feel the spirit of the Bronze Age. Each faction has its own events that need to be responded to. For example, Libyan barbarians against Egypt are a real threat. And perhaps it would be easier for me to pay tribute than to fight them...

In general, the enemies initially have quite strong infantry and archers and are stronger. And although I win almost all the battles, however, I do not have the ease and confidence that is present when I play battles in the original version or within other mods.

The only drawback: the music during battles. It's very monotonous, "kicked" and forced me to turn it off.

From wishes: I would like to be able to play for other factions and change the music.
