I've been able to recreate this issue on a dedicated server. It seems that when the arrows are spawned in from the engram they do *not* load properly onto the Compound Bow. The option to drag them onto the bow either doesn't appear, or it appears initially and after dragging the new arrows onto the bow the option disappears.
You can though learn the engrams, spawn in the necessary materials, craft them in your inventory and then use them without issue. I think this must be an issue in how the blueprint engram is being referenced by the cheat command. I'll need to do more research on this.
But in the mean time, here are cheat codes to spawn in the raw materials for each arrow:
1) Spawn in a single compound bow
admincheat giveitemnum 376 1 0 0
2) Spawn in a stack of metal arrows - you can spawn in the arrows in stacks of fifty. Run this command as many times as you like until you have sufficient arrows
admincheat giveitemnum 377 50 0 0
3) Spawn in the required materials - the first line is to spawn in narcotics for the Tranq Metal Arrow, the second line is to spawn in rare mushrooms for the Drain Metal Arrow. As with the previous command, repeat this as many times as you like until you have sufficient materials
admincheat giveitemnum 123 100 0 0
admincheat giveitemnum 251 100 0 0
4) Learn the engrams - they require level 70 and can be learnt from the ARK engrams menu in the player inventory
5) Craft the arrows - in the player craftables menu (default key: v) you will see the option to make the metal arrow varients that you have learnt. Craft the desired amount as you would for other ARK craftables
6) Equip them to your compound bow - drag your compound bow from your inventory to a number in your hot bar (it can be any number). Then drag the desired arrow from your inventory onto the compound bow in your hot bar.
7) Use the new arrows - press the hot bar key that corresponds to your compound bow with the new arrows. Enjoy!
Could people who have had this issue up until now (@GreenMan and @Caellion) please give this a go and let me know if this gives better results?
@Caellion I would also like to know a little bit more about the "additionally engrams for them dont show up in engram point menu" part. Do you have any other mods installed? Are you specifying the mod in the command line or the ini file? If the engrams don't show at all it sounds like the mod might not be being loaded at all, but this can't be the case if you were still able to spawn in the faulty arrows like @GreenMan describes. I'm wondering if it is conflicting with another mod on your server - could you try moving my modid up the launch order and seeing if that makes any difference next time you restart?

I've been able to reproduce this bug. The crafting menu is taking the metal arrows it finds highest in the players inventory (closest in order to the specimen implant) but is also counting Tranq Metal Arrows and Drain Metal Arrows as consumables. If the Tranq Metal Arrow or Drain Metal Arrow is higher in your inventory then it seems to consume that in making the recipe. In the case of making Tranq Metal Arrows when you already have Tranq Metal Arrows high in the player inventory this means that narcotics will be consumed, but no extra Tranq Metal Arrows will appear in the inventory.
Until a fix is released the solution is to move the Metal Arrows in your inventory closer to the Specimen Implant in order.
Idea: Maybe extra engrams could be added (0 engram cost) that allow you to recraft arrows using the Compound Bow Plus arrows as acceptable substitues for the Metal Arrow (a bit like chitin/keratin work for some engrams). I still think the default behaviour should be consuming strictly Metal Arrows in crafting the Compound Bow Plus arrows.
I just meant that for me I am unable to see engrams in ARK engrams menu. It may be the case that it conflicts, for now it is second mod that gets loaded behind healthbar mod, and after it there are multi weapon attachments, tavans' trough and industrial grinder (in this order).
The mod order is specified in the commandline. I'll be trying to move it to first and last positions later today.
For me it also seemed that the mod wasn't loading at first, but I tried to spawn in BP's and craft the arrows, and I was able to spawn in BP's but not use arrows crafted that way.

My error was to specify the mod file using the mod ID in the path, rather than the mod name. Please try this cheat to spawn 50 of the Tranq Metal Arrows and let me know if it attaches properly to your compound bow, or not. The cheat code is:
I've moved the mod to the end of load order and spawned arrows in with the non-id cheat codes and they seem to work, same for bp's spawned in for them. It seems I have some engram overrides in config which I didn't see earlier, that may have prevented your engrams from appearing.
UPDATE: No matter where I put the mod in the load order, engrams are not learnable in ark menu. I have removed overrides mentioned before. What is more on each server restart arrows from this mod and their blueprints disappear.

edit: just tested the arrows crafted from the blueprints and they work like a charm, haven't tried reseting the server yet though to see it they get wiped. should be fine for now though.
@Caellion, @Rokku_Ryu, @Spowan, @TyoAtrosa: I'm hearing you on both:
1) Engrams for the arrows not showing in the Ark Engrams Menu; and
2) Arrows disappearing from inventory after server restarts.
Give me a bit of time - but those two bugs are my current focus before any new arrows are added. I will let you know when I have made progress and when there is an update or a solution to that problem.
No worries, take your time and when you fix it, let us know what was the issue (this may come in handy for other modders later). I personally think it's somehow related to how the mod loads, seemingly it doesn't load assets (engrams bp's, etc.) at server start and gets loaded on command (if it's even possible in ue4, coming from Skyrim modding community, and I had such a kind of issue with some mods).
Good to know you're on it, thats all we can ask of you. I love the concept of the mod. I love bow and arrow rather than assault rifles..
Do you think once the stun rod is added in a future patch, you'd be able to make a taser arrow?
re: arrows disappearing from inventory after server restart
There has been mention in recent patch notes (v232.6) of a similar problem effecting the beer barrels where beer would disappear after the server restart:

I'm wondering if those experiencing the disappearing arrows issue are still noticing it once they have upgraded to v232.6 or higher. In the meantime I will keep hunting it at my end :)

Thanks to everyone who has supplied their list of mods so far. The only mods in common are the Metal with Glass Mod and the Compound Bow Plus Mod. I've been able to run this mod alongside the Metal with Glass Mod (it was running alongside it during the YouTube video I recorded) so it isn't a simple compatibility issue with the Metal with Glass Mod. Please keep the mod list coming though if your server is having this issue.
In testing I have found that if I don't specify the mod upon map load then a) the metal arrow engrams don't show up; b) arrows in my inventory from prior map loads will disappear; c) I can still spawn the arrows in with the cheat codes. Given that experience I am pretty sure that the issue is with the mod not loading upon map load. If you are still having the issue with the engrams not showing could you please let me know if you specify the mod in the ini file or in the command line? I think specifying the mod in the command line might fix this problem but I haven't tested that yet.
