New Egg/Breeding System Feedback
Hello,

It is finally here! The new egg/breeding system with nests and cute babies!

To mate you will need to be a female raptor and find a male raptor. Get close to it and the mating bar will rise, it it is full you have mated. You will be given an egg. Make sure to craft and Remote Use the nest first, so you have made the nest. THEN drop the egg inside it.
The nest will keep the egg warm and the baby that will come out will automatically be imprinted. Get close to the baby and press N to feed it, so it will stay alive.
Watch out for enemy dino's!

The mating time, egg incubation time and mating interval are base on the default ones, but a bit shorter. However you can change these times in the INI files, this will also affect the times for the Play As Dino mod.

The egg hatch times are by default 4 times shorter, the mating time 8 times, the baby grow speed is 23 faster and the mating interval is 50 times faster. If you think this is too short or too long let me know what you think needs to change. You can also change the times by modifying the Game.INI file:

MatingIntervalMultiplier=1.0 <-- Lowering decreases the mating interval
EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=1.0 <-- Increasing decrease the egg hatch time
BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=1.0 <-- Increasing increases the baby grow speed time

That is not possible, but would be a very good addition

I was playing Petra with your mod, by the why it's fun, but I do not have the blue print to create a nest?! I can produce eggs, but can not get a nest!?

Just reporting some bugs:

I can't seem to get breeding working, first I tried it with a wolf, after mating the 'Gestation Progress' bar never shows but she does have a 'Not Read to mate' bar, there is also no option to make a nest. After a restart the 'Not Read to mate' is gone, so I tried mating again but same thing happened.

Hyena's are having some issues as well, after toggeling God mode ( because the whole pack was attacking my human PC for some reason) she mated successfully, the mate killed the whole pack, I gues he didn't like it that they attacked me, lol. There is a 'Gestation Progress' wich is now full, but there is noting that I can do to build a nest.

Managed to get a female raptor to lay eggs and build nests, those things still work but the incubation timer is frozen on 14 something while the other 2 bars are at 100%. So they just remain eggs for ever.

a direwolf is supposed to howl at lower level wolves to make them join his pack the breeding isnt the same as in normal ark

Thats the option that pops up when you're playing a male. It does not exist for me when playing female.

anyway, more bugs to report.

I'm having an issue with the Hyena breeding. I can mate successfully, but the gestation bar goes all the way up and stays there. Doesn't give me a baby but I can't mate anymore either. Wondering if this is something I'm doing wrong?

Looks like its currently bugged, we didn't get a nest engram so she can't birth her pups. Just read my post up there, as it look like breeding in general is currently, sadly enough, just glitched.

As a hotfix you can try copy this to the GameUserSettings INI file:

[PlayAsDinoSettings]
NoBosses=False
NoGiga=False
OnlyHuman=False
NoBigDinos=False
HatchSpeedMultiplier=1.0
BabyAgeMultiplier=1.0

This will fix the gestation/hatching that isnt working. Ptera having no nest engram will be fixed. The hyeanadon shouldnt have a nest engrams because it is a mammal.

I've put this in and still nothing hm. I've tested it on the Hyena and the Wolf so far, but still no babies. I'll re-install the mod and see if that works. If not then I don't know haha. Thank you for replying so quickly though!

The hyaenodon breeding system is not working properly for me too

I was playing as a female hyaenodon (single player), and I got a mate, when the gestation bar got filled, but no puppy come out; When I log off and in, the matting bar go back to zero and the gestacion bar desapear, and I am able to mate again; But whem I mate it add the male again to the pack list, the bar get stuck on "not ready to mate yet" but the gestation bar don't apear unless I reset the dino (die), but no puppy yet, the gestation bar still get stuck to until I re-login, backing to the problem before.

I know the text is a bit long, but I wanted to describe the bug well.

i was tired and for some reason though he had attempted to do vanilla breeding

I can breed with dead males of my species if I'm female, and if I neuter the males of my pack I can still breed with them~
