1. I would highly recommend adding diplomacy, as it is the greatest sub-mod ever made for this game, and it adds a ton of leeway in roleplaying.
2. Menu options, such as changing banner in camp, executing captured lords (such as in Nova Aetas) is very useful and I don't enjoy mods without them.
3. Don't follow the Roman template too much. Sure the "Calradic Empire" is essentially Rome, and I think the aesthetics (red and gold, eagle, etc) are great, but you should try and make this mod your own. Nova Aetas, for example, had the Mithridian Empire (the Byzantines, historically) act in the same way as the historical Byzantines, but had very different arms and armor that made them feel very unique. Or how the Empire in Skyrim was obvious based on the Romans, but separated themselves from the real world Romans on several levels that made them feel unique and fantasy-like.
4. One of the biggest qualms I have with mods is that they try to do too much too fast. For example, Anno Domini has a massive map and tons of factions, but very little to do. Focus on quality over quantity.
5. Quality troops are a always a must. I know it difficult getting items from one mod to another, but there are quite a few mods with lots of excellent and original armors that I think would embody the "ancient Vaegirs", for example, quite well. The Warhammer mod for Mount and Blade has an insane amount of armor and weapons to draw from that I think would be great additions.
So far I like what you've done, keep up the good work!
1.As far as I know, Bannerlord might not even come out, or come out many years from now. We don't have ANY info on half of the factions, but there will be camels confirmed.
2.This mod is inspired by TW Atilla, more than by Bannerlord. And I doubt Attila 2 would cause me to abandon my mod, since I have already read anything I could about late Roman armies.
