Xbow Khergits are for siege defense.

can you replace Khergits using Xbows as its very fantasies, their bows clearly superior among all Xbow and longbow alike

I meant "modern" west European sabres. There were plenty of slightly curved swords used on the steppes and middle east, and also plenty of inverse curve swords in Greece and Balkans, like falx/rhomphaia.

No. Sabres being adopted widely in Western Europe only happened later. But seeing as it's recorded that Charlemagne gifted a dozen Avar sabres to king Offa of Mercia sometime around 790, they weren't unknown.

Both Khergit Horse Archer and Veteran Horse Archer have a Bow. Some of them could spawn with javelins instead, but it should be very rare with Veterans. Sabers are quite modern weapons, almost as modern as muskets, while the maces gained in popularity in the late medieval period, but I might add a couple.
As a side note, if you are doing horse archer only game, I have a good news. Sarranids have horse crossbowmen and both Calradia and Vaegirs have some form of horse archers, but Khergits are best at it in general.

p/s2: so i played an other battle. What i did is i told the mounted archer units follow me. I think the priority of bow is lower than spear so the units didn't use bow.

P/s: i've got my first Khergit catapharct archer unit. He is having bow, arrow, shield and spear right now. I don't know much about the Huns but i think a saber or mace is better than spear. What do you think about it? :D

I didn't realise it :D Anyway i think there is a bug of Khergit Horse archer: i don't see "khergit horse archer" has a bow and "khergit veteran horse archer" doesn't use bow in combat either. I'm playing the game right now and the Kergit horse archer is having a small shield, a spear and a sword. Can you check it please?

@Earth Heavy Lancer is Cataphract already, by a different name. They use only heavy and armoured horses, and get much better armour.
Lower tier cav is light cav. I am open to suggestions if you gave something specific on your mind. As a side note, I felt Khergits are more Huns then Mongols, so it might not fit your idea.

What do you think about Khergit Cataphract and light cavalry? I really want to see something like Mongols heavy cavalry in vanila-like mod
