The introduction at the beginning of the game tells your about the backstories of all nations.
The backstory of the Mithridians is as follows: they were once the great Calradic Empire. But the Empire fell apart in an Eastern part and Western part. Although there had never been such thing as a Western-Calradic Empire. The Western areas consisted of Dominions under the Rule of the Emperor in Mithridias. These Dominions would quickly be lost to the barbarians. The Sarranid desert, the islands in the south, all Rhodok lands beneath the mountains and the cities of Halmar and Narra would be kept under Mithridian Rule - until the rise of the Islam.
No in the 15th century, the Mithridians only rule the islands south of Calradians. They have a very strong navy to keep out outsiders. They have turned inward to prevent every outsider access to Mithridian territory. So nobody in Calradia has any idea of the grandeur of the White City, nor the largeness of her Walls. I'll represent this ingame in such manner that the player will face many difficulties if he wants to visit the White City.
I did run into one problem though and this may have been my fault, but I was enlisted in the army of a Sarranid lord and we were at war with the Mithridian Empire. We ended up traveling to the Mithridian island and evidently lost since there are so many armies present, but once I made it to the island I didn't have a way of getting off unless I bought a caravel since I traveled with the lord originally.
Do you plan to add a method to pay for passage to travel? Maybe make it an option for the ports except the ability pay for travel to the New World.
XD Im cheap! But you're right.
