So assuming the other advisers have free ways of boosting influence at least a bit then i suggest
nobles low priority as edicts don't seem that amazing
cleregy high priority after you have your first town or two
commeners high priority prior to getting first town or two
Examples:
Always go atheist at the start regardless of which religion you want to be as it gives a +2 int bonus which even if you are not using an int build (not sure why you wouldn't as i have max int of 30 and 11 stat points still to spend (i am level 27 but essentially maxed int by level 15 (using the inteligence book for +1) so this gives you a net +2 int the only cost is 250 renown (to choose your religion at a church/other religious building in any town) which slows down your early game a bit but renown is pretty easy to build back up if you did it when you got to 250 or so renown it is more of a penalty if you leave it late to choose your religion such as if you have 1000 renown
Another starting tip for character creation is never invest in ironflesh, there is an event where you get the choice to lose 2 ironflesh in exchange for 90% chance of of a good duelist trait, this trait is meh at max level good it gives =15 prestige per week at max level bad it gives -15 prestiger per week, the option which you should take is the +2 ironflesh for a high chance of the negative trait. prestige is basically monopoly money and easy to get (the proud hearted trait also pretty much counteracts this trait by giving +10 prestige per week) I currently have 7 ironflesh even though i only have 9 strength
I suggest going for an intelligence agility or intelligence charisma character in nova aetas
The only reason to improve strength is for power strike and power draw as with 9 strength you can equipt the best armor (including even plate which has a strength requirement of 9) you can get ironflesh 10 via the events and power strike 3, Rapiers are very powerful (they vary a lot in strength requirement but there is a rapier type of strength 8) my current rapier is a tempered rapier of swing 42c Thrust 49p speed 98 reach 94 and is one handed so it can be used with a sheild (try find sheilds with good resistence and health like the steel sheild which has like 700hp 20 or so resist)
An int agility character
(I suggest int first agility second) can actually heal very well instantly in the middle of battle for a small cost of exp healing like half your health every 30 seconds is very powerful and agility will allow you the best horse (charger which has like 60 armor) and get the sheild skill which can go very well with your ability to heal in combat as when your sheilds break you will need to scramble for a new one fast and of course the ability to move slightly faster with the sheild and not get hit be arrows all the time (athletics is a alternative to riding if you prefer ground combat)
weapon master is always nice as well this is why i suggest agility vs strength if you want solely a combat character as 3 powerstrike with a 200+ weapon proficiency should be good to 1/2 shot most opponents when armed with a decent rapier
(with piety maxed you can put a couple of points into leadership as well detailed further below)
An int charisma character (i suggest sticking to an int agility character as trade is a waste on your main character and so is prisoner management so the only charisma skill worth it is leadership and 5-6 of it should be fine for the extra troops/morale etc (you can use 1-2 points in prisoner management to gain honour though i believe by taking hostile troops captive then releasing them although it is much easier to be the big bad guy in nova aetas via executing lords)
This character build is a mediocre alternative to the agi build if you want leadership 10 so badly
With piety (once you have chosen your religion after being atheist see above) you gain up to 10 charisma if i am not mistaken 1 for every 10 piety (piety can be bought for 1k per piety point so you can essentially buy charisma points for 10k (i am lead to believe it is up to 10) so once you are a wealthy enterprise/mansion owner or king/wealthy vassal you can buy your piety (technically you can pray every day for 1 piety but walking to the priest every day can be tiresome so it is generally easier to get a high income first and donate a bunch of money.
Leadership increases the percentage of which you can heal all your troops at once in battle in addition to the benefits of having more spaces in your party, morale and budget bonuses of course leadership is the main reason
Prime enterprise locations (as i know so far):
Rivicheg- Dyeworks 4000-5000 roughley per week in profit when fully upgraded costing essentially 18k for the dyeworks and all upgrades
Zendar- Olive oil 1500-2000 costs roughley 10k for the fully upgraded enterprise
when compared to most places these are above the value of the other enterprises in towns i have found thus far tend to have a profit margine of around 0-1000 which is basically just a less predictable income version of renting houses which makes the apprenticeship more or less a waste of time
Colonies:
(Make sure to press enter to confirm your buildings placements or destruction when visiting your colony to build buildings)
Santiagon the south most island is by far the best island in comparison the the others i have tried thus far (it produces silver)
Out of the resources gathered from colonies i have attained these so far (with 1-3 trade skill, trade skill will increase the value you get)
Silver 1k-1.1k
Gold 300-400
Sable furs 300-400
Slaves 300-400 (and can be used for population in colonies which is a minor bonus to somewhat quick start a colony but you still need the tools)
I suggest you get somewhere between 2-4 inventory management as in nova aetas inventory it is not nessecary but comes in handy if you want to build colonies within a decent timeframe or restore monuments for fun also comes with the benefits of not
Executing lords is a great way to slowly kill off a kingdom such as the aztecs and slowly claim their kingdom for your own as they are gone as a vassal for good and the only replacements are from deffecting lords of other kingdoms this does cost you honour but this is not really a problem at all for the benefits it gives
I will probably include bugs I have encountered little or small and how to avoid/work around them if at all possible
