Any compatible mods ?
Before playing with Renaissance Mod i played vanilla with population boost and got addicted to that sweet pop boost, thought that it would be ok to play both but game started to crush every now and then (like every 7~9 turns).
Is there some similiar mod for boosting population but compatible with Renais ? Or any other way to would be appreciated

Did you check these two?

> The bigger the world and the more AI's playing, the longer the turn times. You may also experience an occasional crash while the AI is moving. This is because of the memory leak issue with W2 -- but the mod (with everything it adds) does make it worse.

> Only thing I can think of is that maybe you've surpassed the number of available saves. There is a cap -- maybe 20-40 save files. Something like that. Try deleting some old save files and see if that makes any difference.

If auto-save was enabled and the game surpassed the number of available saves, I suspect it might make a game unstable. This is my mere speculation, though.

@Shadobi - I can't speak to whether certain mods will work with Renaissance, but I'd like to suggest you try playing with it solo. A number of population boosts are included in the mod. Capital cities grow 50% faster and Harbors and Universities also increase population growth. Moreover, every faction has a Colosseum building that adds even more population growth to any city over level 5.

Beyond that, two key spells have been added/updated to really give you a sweet boost -- Prosperity is much stronger, and Prosperous Tidings is incredibly potent (and not just for boosting population). In addition, the Renaissance event that triggers shortly after turn 100 provides additional population boosting at no cost.

So this really has been addressed natively in the mod in a variety of strategic ways. Give it a try. You might not miss that mod once you begin using the native tools at your disposal.
