IV. Your Hero Level:

Your hero level is important because the higher it is you can place higher Gems. Level 5 is maximum, but if you place two level 5 gems of the same kind you can combine it to a level 6 gem.

Hero Level 1: All your Gems are level 1

Hero Level 2: If you place Gems they will be level 1 or 2

Hero Level 3: If you place Gems they will be from level 1 to 3

Hero Level 4: If you place Gems they will be from level 1 to 4

Hero Level 5: If you place Gems they will be from level 1 to 5

V. Advanced combined gem system
When a combined gem kills 10 enemys, it can get a buff of attack damage. This buff can inherit to higher-level gems. On magic gems it can get a buff of magic bounds so the creeps get a debuff for magic resistance.

Every 10 kills it will be add +10%. If the combined gem kills 20 enemys, so it has +20% attack damage (my highest buff was +100% on Silver Knight)

In alpha version 0.7 I don't have many solo games played and in these solo games I haven't defeated the bosses. At the moment I mostly play with one or two friends. :steamfacepalm:

We currently fail to the flying waves from 25 or higher.

Can you make some screenshot about your maze and building tactics?
Eisdrache Sep 18, 2015 @ 1:29pm
Hey eddy,

later I will do this, but not now. The designer add more and more and so after every update I should update my screenshots, so i start with screenshots later.

Hello,

I enjoyed your post. I think some towers got updated, for instance malachite does 12 damage now and huge malachite 36.

Some additional information you didn't write:

emerald (g1 - g6) poison damage over 5 seconds:
g1 1 dmg/s
g2 3 dmg/s
g3 6 dmg/s
g4 10 dmg/s
g5 15 dmg/s
g6 30 dmg/s

opal (e1 - e6) true sight and attack speed auras:
e1 +20 atk speed aura
e2 +30 atk speed aura
e3 +40 atk speed aura
e4 +50 atk speed aura
e5 +60 atk speed aura
e6 +120 atk speed aura

diamond (d1-d6) high damage:
d1 6 dmg
d2 12 dmg
d3 18 dmg
d4 24 dmg
d5 30 dmg
d6 60 dmg

saffire (b1-b6) slow:
b1 -40 ms
b2 -60 ms
b3 -80 ms
b4 -100 ms
b5 -120 ms
b6 -240 ms

amenyst (p1-p6) armor reduction:
p1 -1 armor
p2 -2 armor
p3 -3 armor
p4 -4 armor
p5 -5 armor
p6 -10 armor

ruby (r1-r6) deals half dmg in splash. splash increases with level but it doesn't really matter as it does not help with bosses.

aquamarine (q1-q6) high atk speed

topaz (y1-y6) split shot 3

One needs to note that different abilities stack but the same ability does not stack with itself. For example, slow1 from b1 stacks with slow2 from b2 or silver, but 2 silver slow do not stack. Hence, in multiplayer, it is better to have 1 b1 and 5 silvers than 6 silvers.

lvl 6 towers can be gotten only by merging 2 lvl 5 towers. The most important are e6 for a huge atk speed aura and b6 for a huge slow on bosses. d6 and g6 can be nice for damage. p10 can matter in multiplayer. r6,y6,q6 do not really matter.

Eddy, in one player bosses are easier than in multiplayer. The general idea is that you maze around mid while building the line so that ground creeps have to go 6 times through the maze. An example of maze building is here: http://imgur.com/a/BVsAY .

I generally build first few gems out of the 5 gems you get each wave around mid until I get a gem good enough, then use the other gem to build the maze far from mid. It's better to have all gem mid than good gems spread around the map.

For boss 1, having mid:
-silver,
-p2 for -armor or p1 if you plan to build aster,
-g 2 and / or d 2 for damage (depending on what you plan for later, usually 1 g2 max),
- b1 to slow the boss more,
- e1 or e2 for true sight and atk speed aura
is enough.

This is 8 gems, or 6 with fast silver combine. Other gems have still to be around mid. You can have 1 asteriated ruby or malachite if you got them with fast combine, or you can build 1 of them without fast combine but you can't build the 2 towers without fast combine or you won't get boss reliably.

Creeps needs to go 3 times through mid to kill them all at wave 9 (evade) so mze should be this good at this point if you have no malachite or asteriated ruby.

Alternatively, if you get b3, a knight from r3 or e3 for better aura, then first boss is easier and you need less gems. 1 silver seems mandatory for damage though.

For boss 2, you need to stack slows (b1, b2 or silver, b3 or knight, if possible b4 or quartz) and usually 1 or 2 jades can kill it with the help of all other mid towers.

Then in 1 player I usually loose between wave 25 and 27. Top player get to wave 29 or 30, but they most probably got lucky and got many advanced towers as pink D, lucky chinese jade, yellow and dark emerald.

In 2 players or more, the strategy is different. you need to stack everything (minus armor, slow, auras). For boss 1 you need e1 e2 p1 p2 b1 (b2 or silver) for example. Then you need damage. For boss 1 many silvers and a few g2 d2. At 3 or 4 players, you may necessarily need e3, b3 or knight with r3 to kill boss 1. For boss 2 you need b4 or quartz with several jades under auras to kill it. Then it's so rare to get to wave 30 than it's difficult to discuss strategies there, but you usually need several huge pink diamonds for damage, several dark emerald to stun lock it, several yellow to slow it, a quartz or lucky jade for anti air aura, and maybe a cat's eye around the pink diamonds.

Just a detail, in 4 players I have been to wave 34 (rank 10 in rankings) without killing any of the 3 first bosses. We recovered the leaks with lucky chinese jades (got 3 at the end). Anyway in the mid 20s waves you get your level 5 on all heroes and get best gems.

Hello Farine,
thank you for your help, i know a lot of the balances but I hadn't enough time to change it here.

Now some ideas for your strategy. Step 2: when you build the gem at point 2 on top the creeps must go 4 times trough middle not three.

For the bosses I wrote the same in other discussions, but thanks to add this here.

Then in solo game you can only play to wave 32 the recovery waves is too hard, I had 2 Lucky Chinese Jade and 1 Jade and G5 buffed by E2, E4 & E5 and the creeps had more heal as I can do damage with this poison. I have killed only 3 creeps in this waves.

But if you want to reach this wave you must have Yellow Sapphire in middle, so that the flying creeps will be slowed there two times. The sooner the better, so you should defeat both bosses.

I hope they will do more changes so i can reach wave 34/35 again.

New in alpha version 0.7e:

II. Waves:
Wave 6 isn't now magic immune

III. Gems:
I've changed the damage from Silver, Silver Knight, Malachite, Huge Malachite.

Yeah I've just reach wave 32 in solo mode. Recovery was too hard. On ranking the top 3 players has been over wave 32.

Here are some screenshots for players:

wave 30 in solo mode:
{LINK REMOVED}

I reached wave 32 this time, got a lucky jade in addition afterwards but it was not enough for recovery wave. I think pink D or dark emerald could have make a difference, though I don't think I could have killed all 10 sharks.

wave 33 in 4 players mode:
http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=351883ScreenShot20150920at84059PM.png

We lost wave 34 there I think. The cat between 3 huge pink D was working well. The problem was that we didn't have enough for physical immune wave 34 zombies. I don't know how to kill wave 34. We tried with many volcanoes but it didn't work. It seems that only volcanoes, splash towers like knight, bloodstone chain lighting and poison can damage physical immun waves. It also seems that the volcanoes magic bounds aura can improve all the magic damage in the area, so a strategy with everything could work.

I had three and it wasn't enough, was lucky with combined gem in one round Jade and another quartz.

The fire field from volcano doesn't stack with each other, so in two or more player games you must build them away from each other.
