I can sometimes not impress upon my team mates exactly how important it is to

* not let creeps kill our buildings,
* not fight creeps behind the ancient,
* share farm,
* not kill the courier by flying him across the map (up mid lane),
* not pick axe and/or alchemist,

What should I do?

1)"If you, 'funny men', let creeps destroy our towers, first - creeps will get buffed, and afterward - it'll be just a matter of time until we're screwed".
2)"Ancient is under attack! Why the hell are you there, and not infront of it!?(*PING**PING**PING**PING**PING*...)"
3)"Stop hogging on farm, "funny man"(*PING**PING**PING**PING*...), its not a singleplayer game"
4)"Are you damn blind or stupid?(*PING* at the courier dying spot continuously)".
5)"I won't give you any solo lanes\bounty runes. Don't even think about it."

I'll add my own too!
6)* What should I do when I see people buying absolutely useless, unadequate, uneffective and overpriced ♥♥♥♥?

6)"You, yes, you! buy Horde Stick or Stout shield. What? You want to buy 6 quarterstaffs?..." - and then I have no comments.. No idea what should I say there :(

Can anyone actually play Arc Warden and not be a huge burden to their team?

Arc is one of the best healer and support. I've played him like 7-8 times.
I've tried that nice technique:
- Buy mana potion, healing salve, meka, urn of shadows, arcane boots.
- Wait till ulti is ready and your teammate is badly damaged.
- Press R, apply stuff from your inventory, and restore his health in no time.
- Read "wp arc" in the chat.
His Q is nice when dealing with lone bosses, deep inside the base.
W is okay, though duration is kinda small. You can save lives with that thing, like an aoe dazzle's shallow grave or something.
E okay to take down ranged creeps damaging your carry.
R - When you have enough money, you can buy Dagon, Ethereal cannon, Necronomicon, Shiva's Guard and Armament. In dire situations, just press R then press every button of your inventories. Necronomicons actually do tons of damage to bosses. When using dagon, first apply Ethereal cannon for incoming damage boost.

So Arc is sort of like a support that requires some serious keyboard piano. Gotcha. I'll try it out.

The current game situation requires the help discussions to be reviewed and remade.

How to avoid painful situations when playing Horde mode:
This little guide would help newbies get settled with the current(19.7.16) Horde mode situation. You'd also get a bunch of trusty, time-proven methods of surviving.

Lets start with a little fact that you may not get after your first game:
- The waves are randomized.
That means, that your first, second and third games may not play the same. Hero that was proven worthless in the first game, may appear insanely good in the next game.

So. Never throw out a possibility to stick with one hero, and master him.

Next, I'd like to get you in clearer touch with the mission of the game:
- You NEED to push towers.
Razing towers grants gold for your entire team, as well as permabonuses for attack speed, damage and armor.
- You NEED to protect your base.
Its no matter how many towers you just destroyed, you still can lose, so, when going after towers - always carry a teleport scroll, or a travel boots in your inventory.

Why do we keep on losing?
To understand why, I'll give you a short list of possible reasons. You can check out, which one corresponds with your situation better:
1. Leaving your lane too much - You leave your lane to help other lanes.
What you'll get:
- You're draining gold and exp gain from other lanes.
- You're not receiving enough gold and exp for yourself.
- Creeps push towers down, getting permabuffs.
- You lose your chance to protect your lane creeps from being overrun(so they can tank for you).
What to do:
- Stay at your lane as long as possible, until you clearly understand, that player at the other lane is unable to get everything under control.
- Buy consumables instead of returning back to fountain, or buy regen items.

2. Sharing a lane with a carry player - You're stealing gold and exp from your hard carry.
What you'll get:
- The carry, who is supposed to be your only chance to survive during the late game is now underfarmed, and can't do a thing about stronger creeps coming from all sides.
- Gold you'll get wouldn't be enough to patch up the lack of gold of your carry, since items produce giant gaps in effectiveness. Getting Morbid mask(900 gold) a minute later can be crucial.
What to do:
- Find out if you can farm jungle near the spawn.
- Don't get settled up at other's lanes for too long.
- Always pick support hero if 3 hard carries present already, so you won't have to fight over farm with each other.
- Later the game, you can push, while carries defend the base.

3. Bad item build - You buy stuff that does not improve your effectiveness.
What you'll get:
- Your dps would be too low.
- You won't be able to tank the damage. Sooner or later, every hero would have to tank the incoming damage. You wouldn't be able to hide behind towers and creeps anymore. If you won't start tanking - creeps will break all your buildings, getting even stronger.
What to do:
- Find out, which bad sides do your hero have(Troll Warlord - not enough damage, Tiny - slow attack speed, Antimage - low tankiness, Juggernaut - not enough damage, Doom - low starting armor and low attack speed...).
- Find out, which good sides your hero have(Tiny and Treant - high attack damage, Troll Warlord - fast attack speed, Drow ranger - Have splash attack, Tidehunter - high tankiness, Antimage - high attack damage...).
- Buy items that cover bad sides, while sharpening up the good sides.

Alright, just thought you could due to the way it was expressed how you get mana per charge you got on it
