Haven't seriously tried to optimize the time but just getting the win isn't that hard with Naga. I'm curious if anyone's beaten hard with any other hero (or ultra with any hero, which I doubt)? Terrorblade and Meepo seem like they could potentially work but I can't get Terrorblade through the early game or micro all the Meepo clones well enough to keep all of them from ever dying.
You do realize this thread is about single player, right?

Very smooth win. No idea what's changed or what I did different from earlier when I kept getting overwhelmed. Probably just being movement between lanes on early levels.
So how's 1.19 for single player? I hadn't touched the map in a while but played it a couple of times today, and it feels both harder and much more polished. Having difficulty options on 2p map means you can now play with settings that neither are laughably easy like the old 2p or require an illus hero like old 4p, and in the rebalanced 5p you get a much more consistent level of challenge.
First I tried 2p a couple of tries; on the first one I had no real plan and just died, second time I gave Alch a shot and won, somewhat leisurely once I had maxed spray and got a couple of items. Felt pretty good, I doubt my strategy was very optimal so if ultra isn't hugely more difficult it's probably doable.
Then I played 5p hard once with Naga. The game starts out pretty much the same as before, but when I hit Radiance and expected to start pushing out all lanes and working on getting towers done, instead I found I was getting pushed back everywhere with stronger creeps coming from all lanes. It felt like I could have won if I went straight for the throne more aggressively, but instead I kept picking off outer buildings and durdling in base until the creeps got too big to care about Radiance and died at 29 minutes or so.
So not many games for me yet but what I saw so far looks very promising.
I think I'll try broodmother next. She was really easy to win with.
