Tips and tricks to get started with the Reassemblers
The philosophy of this mod

"You start small, with no premade ship and limited blocks. Struggling to survive earlier on relying on evasion, with the teleport ability, but eventually gathering enough R and C to start your "upgrading strategy", which might differ from player to player. You have access to "farming" with the seed planter for 1500C (10x less without S.S.S...). Things might cost more (if you use S.S.S...) but farming and gathering can turn the tables. "Hard mode" when starting, yes, but unlimited potential..."

This mod assume you have some experience in building effective ships. As such, it does not "hold your hand" with premade ships like in the other playable faction...

Here a few things you might consider:

1 - In the very beginning, you will need to gather R and convert it to C at the starting station. You can also make a run for a deactivated station to gain quick C.

2 - At this stage, teleport is your friend! Use it! Often. To get out of trouble and to quickly maneuver past obstacles... When in trouble, hide under the station shield umbrella.

3 - You have access to many different "cores" shape. Note that, because of current Reassembly limitation, you cannot easily switch from one core to another. Copy a design with the core you want to use and simply edit it. If you are switching core type on your active ship, the current blueprint will remain active but your ship won't reassemble if it takes damage. The only way to rebuild it with the new core you have chosen is to destroy it by crashing into something, let an enemy blast you into the (gamma) void or by using the auto destruct function.

4 - Once you have some C, begin your "upgrade strategy". Better thrusters, some R containers, a generator and capacitor. Focus on those first. Capacitors can help you increase a ship maximum energy. They are lightweight and small. Use them to allow a bigger and heavier ship to teleport. Teleportation require 4 energy per mass unit...

5 - Create a few simple blueprints. The starting station will spawn them and they will be more effective than the barebone ships.

6 - Consider using seeds farming with the "Seed Planter". This is the easiest way to quickly gather R.

7 - Unlock a factory block and build a fleet to help you in combat. Computer controlled allied ships have impossible to match (for a human) aiming and maneuvering skill...

8 - You can define "rooted" structure blueprint and they will spawn on asteroid when you control a sector. This can be very useful for defense!

You should make the blocks separated by shape\
can someone please tell me how to teleport? i have no idea and it would be really helpful

To teleport you need, first, to assign a keyboard key or button to this function. Check in control options. Secondly, you need a ship with enough energy to perform the actual maneuver. Teleporting requires 4 energy per mass unit.

Which blocks to I need to unlock to edit the Replicator Epsilon?
Galenmacil  [developer] Feb 18, 2016 @ 8:26pm
Replicators (all variants) are composed of the following blocks : Station Core, Station Shield Projector, Solar Array, Factory (square shaped for Epsilon variant) and Hull Blocks.

Thanks, I guess I'm better off building my own stations for now then. The station shield projector explains the large P cost.
By the way, the Epsilon Replicator had grabbed a bunch of random factories but seemed to be using a pentagon one, not square. :P

My ship won't apply new designs. It let's me save them, but I'm stuck as the starting design. I made sure the new design had engines--am I missing something? It says "Metamorphizing Ship..." but the ship does not change. No other mods enabled.

It tells you in this exact post.. You have to get yourself killed. It's quite annoying but that's what you need to do if you use a different core.

Thanks for answering Poggle566 =)

Reassembly do not support multiple core block per faction in a simple way... Maybe one day.

Weird. I didn't think I had used a different core. Thanks, though. I guess you can just teleport into asteroids to quickly 'respawn'.

Den Fyren: Do you have other mods installed or just Reassembler?

How do you make the captured stations better?
Galenmacil  [developer] Sep 27, 2016 @ 8:48pm
Screw Head: If you make a blueprint without thrusters, the game will consider it a station and it will start to spawn in newly discovered sectors or you can spawn it manually.
