Interesting... I'm pretty sure I used culture_group = gensokyan as that's the only thing I used all over the place i'll look into this! As for the occluded I know about it it was in the mod before I started updating and working on it. I could make it a static portrait instead. I don't know about 3. I never used it... Thanks for the report!

For the Shinto religion group, I cannot seem to hold temple without penalties. The head of the religion can, but regular ladies (i.e. dukes and counts) still incur an income penalty.

I'm only running this mod plus most of the dlc (old gods, charlemagne, way of life, swords of islam, rajas, sons of abraham, legacy of rome, sunset invasion).

Edit: After checking, I don't see anything wrong... can_hold_temple is true and female_temple_holders too... But you do get -75% tax penalty I'm not sure why... Basically all it does is remove the warning that you're holding a temple...

I think it happens with the tribal start. It goes away once I upgraded to fedual.

I managed to form the gensokyo kingdom, but lost the ability to female characters to counties. I was still tribal at that point though, so I'll try upgrading to fedual first then trying again to see if there is a difference.

yep, gensokyo kingdom stuck on open agnatic elective. I can still appoint female character to shrines, but not to counties.

if I create my own kingdom then I keep gavelkind succession and I can choice gender succession. I couldn't with the straight gensokyo kingdom :/
