So I like this mod, but I found the appearance of a few Touhou characters in the middle of a world of normal-looking people a little jarring, particularly when I tried to make a Gensokyan male for fandom reasons and he was the same semi-realistic CK2 character model.

I figured loading up Anime Portraits would make everything blend a little better, but it completely overwrote the Gensokyo portraits, which was also less than ideal.

I have the dropbox download of Kingdom of Gensokyo, and the most recent steam version of Anime Portraits, so I decided to try my hand at some really basic modding. I do now have a single mod containing both the added Gensokyo island and anime portraits, but I still can't get the Touhou faces to show up for their respective characters/cultures. Even after editing together the gfx files to contain the changes from both mods, Anime Portraits is still overriding the KoG faces.

Any ideas why this would happen? If not, I'll take another look tomorrow to see if I've missed anything and report back with my findings. Obviously I don't have permission from either group to upload the mashup mod, but if I get it working I can ask and upload for people who want it.
