Its a completely different item, no credit is due. Now stop being a ♥♥♥♥ and bugger off.

Maybe they look very similar but do you have any evidence that he copied it, might just be that both of the model were inspired by an existing weapon and therefore they're bound too look alike, and also what do you mean it's not his model completely, if he made it from scratch it very much is his model completely. Just look through the workshop and how many models look very similar to each other so I think it's safe to say that this was a coincidence

no, you were accusing him of making a ripoff.

It's simply the weapon that's the same. They both use completely diffrent models and textures it would seem, as well as the orginal one had the unused animation from valve on it so the animations on this weapon are custom made. So it is no way a "copy", it simply has the same weapon inspiration.

This is not a rip off although i do like the gamebanana version better.

This is news to me, I came across the idea for this while looking at Australian military photos of their early days in Vietnam. The Sterling Mk.2/Mk.3/Mk.4 and Mk.5 are different guns. This was my first weapons model; took me about a month to make from concept to completion (in between work and everything else in life), and have dozens of numeric/dated versions of my work saved proving I made this submission from every step starting in late December.
it looks a little defferent.

please just ♥♥♥♥ off and quit being a little prick its not like valve will ever add this anyway
valve dosen't add weapons...thats the lesson i learned!unless its a REALLY cool RE-SKIN maybe they add it
gravestormer Jan 27, 2015 @ 12:02am
It may be based off the same weapon but that doesn't mean they ripped off the person from game banana. The models don't look anything alike except from the gun that they're based on.

I have no idea what you're talking about, we just got the Iron Bomber (which was originally called the Scottish Guardian I think, I could be wrong though), the Quickiebomb Launcher, and the Panic Attack, all of which are fairly good and unique weapons.

If you've never heard of the sterling then it's the english's thompson or mp40. I'm surprised there actually haven't been more sterlings made for tf2 and these two models of the guns are not the same... making them different.
