Please post your bug reports in this topic.
Whenever posting a bug, please supply the log file located at:
%appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Storage\377773977.sbm_Stargate\Portal.log

Please keep in mind this file is erased everytime a new world is loaded, so don't start a new game until after you save this file!

If it's long (> 10 lines), please put it on pastebin.com and paste the link here.

I cannot hope to help with teleportation issues without it.

Yes, I'm still tracking that one down. Thanks.
Another bug report - looks like addresses get reset on relog and DHDs do not store Quick Dial address on relog.
Everytime I go through a portal on my dedicated server I get an error.

Also the gate list doesn't seem to always show my gates

Anybody else experiencing the dialing devices being placed fully built? I'm in a survival world on latest Stable build and every time I place a DHD it's fully built, I can then grind it down for components and repeat. Not seeing any errors in game or portal log files. Placing the actual portal down you still need components and to actually weld it, only the DHD seems affected.

Yes, I have a fix for that incoming.

Thanks, looks like it's an issue with the client entity streaming. I'll investigate.

That's good, I know they're not the expensive part but I do feel very cheaty getting the free resources. :)
Just saw an update so i tried it again, seems to work fine in single player and when I host from within game. It is sill giving an error in the dedicated server though.

I'm certainly puzzled. Nothing in ResetGate should ever throw an exception, by design.

Updated and tried again ;) (really want it to work)

Doesn't tell me ingame about errors anymore (although there still seems to be assert failures in the log that looks like the errors I listed before) .

However I have over 10 Event Horizons listed in the antenna dropdown (remote access terminal). Seems to leave one everytime I go through. (Now that I think about it, I think it was doing thie eariier as well)

This doesn't result in a bug per se, but when I travel between a station gate and a ship gate I get locked into moving in a really boxy grid, running into stuff that isnt there and getting pushed into the floor. Anyone else getting this?

It's something with the game.

The (wrong) sound still plays when the Iris opens and closes. The Iris is visible and has no collision at all times. Reloading the world seems to have fixed it for now, but I thought I should let you know anyway.
Playing a bit with the gates and crashed if i using the portal again to a gate i have used in the last 5-10 mins.

Maybe the gates on the other sides are not closing correctly!?
Distance between Gates 1000km up to 15000km
Two of my gates keep getting the same address as each other, which prevents them showing in the dialing device menu. I can manually dial them if I enter the gate name in the quick dial box. My config has the gate influence area as 10,000 and the two gates are built around 45Km apart as one is on Mars and one is in orbit. A third gate I've built which is 30Km from the nearest of the two original gates got a unique address no problem.

I've tried breaking down the gates and re-building them but they both just keep getting assigned the same address. Here's my portal.log.

https://pastebin.com/7qtFQwak

And here's the config in my worlds storage folder.
https://pastebin.com/DrexUR7q

Edit: Not that I think it should matter, but just in case. All three gates are built onto rotors to allow them to spin round as I use them for sending/receiving cargo.

Edit 2: Ok, so I decided to just confirm it was reading the config by changing the influence area using the in-game commands. I set it to 5Km and now all three gates have unique addresses, but if I set it back to 10Km gates 1 and 2 share an address again. Here's a screenshot I just took which shows the orbital station containing gate 2 and the antenna marker 42Km below is where gate 1 is located so they are definitely more than 10Km apart.
