Regarding the boundaries of the continents.

I don't really like the way this mod handles the coastline. There are cliffs everywhere. Is there any way to restore the original effect?

Sure, you can remove them by deleting the files and folders in /map_data/ and /gfx/FX/ in the mod folder.
