[B42] Week One NPC
Can your partner sit in the car?
Can you somehow make your babe sit in a car with you (or any NPC for that matter)? I always lose them forever, right when I hit the road, at the start of the every run, which is kind of disappointing. I tried to tell them to "sit in the car" with the chat box, but they just not reacting. If not, I think it would be a cool feature to implement, if possible

In the settings, there is a "NPC get in car (BUGGY)" it works, but is very buggy, they tend to get out mid drive and fall under the wheels at 100mph and die. just look behind you and give them time to catch up.

Oh, guess I missed that option in the settings, will give it a try, thanks!

Is there a specific trick to it? I've had that checked but they never get in, and sometimes get 'hit' anytime I try to move the vehicle.

There are a few tricks with certain cars. You can use G and click a location to get them to stand there, then unclick it to have them return to you, doing that on the OPPOSITE side to the free door, tends to work better to have them get in. But when they get in, they almost always kill themselves.
Will give that a try, thanks.

Really can't recommend enough, not trying it. They are going to 100% kill themselves
