Honestly. I love this mod but, i wish there was setting to prevent the apocalypse because day 1 generally feels like its own game. This game in question being if Project Zomboid, GTA, and The Sims had a child. I highly recommend the mod because it simulates a week before the infection as well as building upon base Project Zomboid. Thank you for making this mod!

Hey, i have a save but i dont want to use the mod anymore. The NPC get in my house, use my things etc. How i can unistall the bandits and the week one mod? I love the mod, but 2 weeks and there still NPCs

They are supposed to be bloodthirsty. I know this is unreal but this is how I wanted this. Otherwise there is Sims and no challange. If you need explanation foe this then imagine that the initial symptom of the knox virus is the aggresion

Entertainers are messed up. I have little motivation to fix them as rthey don't add much to the game and their animations are bugged

@Alden Bandit Week One has the number of NPC Cars, set that to 0
@Nesano, saying "Sorry" on chat will get them to stop hitting you most of the time
@Chotato, you can(and should) reduce bandit spawns on both the main mod settings, and in the week one settings. Also bump up army spawns to make it less annoying as bandits will get deleted before they can kill you. Plus you should be able to disable their break-happy behavior.

@wise for me house parties work but preachers / street performers don't spawn and an error pops up every time the game attempts to spawn them

Day 5 onward is just unpleasant. The bandit system is waaay too overzealous and it sounds more like a warzone than a viral outbreak. Also equally not fun when the cops are the ones to break your barricades down for absolutely no reason.

Cool idea, but a big issue at the moment is that NPCs are straight-up bloodthirsty murderous psychopaths. I assume it comes from the fact that this mod is derived from a mod about bandits but, when you're forced to kill a soccer mom in a pawn shop because she pulled her 9 on you for taking an item of a shelf without having enough money to "buy" it, we've got problems.

@wise I have the same issue, just played Week One an hour ago. Same error every time the game tries to spawn a preacher or street performer. Parties work fine.

Something wrong with guns? I made sure to have a clean instalation of PZ and ONLY Week one activated, just to make sure it wasnt any conflict. But it seems that gun shots CONNECT but don't do any damage, unless youre basically meele range. Whats with that?

Great mod and very fun.

Then only two problems I haven is the fire bombing of my base and NPCs attacking my barricades for no reason.

hi i have a bug when i lunch the mod in option the music print that he his removed but the main menu music is here and when i launch the music deseapar and if i readd the music when i launch a game the music is removed and same when i leave the game can u fix it pls ?

My generic answer to questions " why does X happen" is: 1. Every playthrough is different due to the complexity of the mod. So you can experience.things.other have never experienced. 2. If you use other mods I have no idea how they interact with this mod. Generally sont think one single experience is universal.

Why does it spawn me in a room full of underwear zombies immediately trying to fuck me?
Then a lot of the zombies around the spawn are like this too. Ontop of that, I don't see any civilians running around in either Week One or Day One.
I am presuming this is a setting, as nobody else in the comments has this issue. I tried both Week One & Day one separately without any mods & I still had the same issue.

Both. Most basements are connected to the inside of houses but some are connected to the outside. If you plan on waiting out the nuke underground then try to get a spawn in a house with one unless you want to fight cops.

Also, I think one of the most annoying bugs is how after getting aggro'd once, they will perpetually run in circles around the spot where the fight happened. They should chill out after a day or so.

Feature request: An 'exemption' in items from stores in sandbox menu.

For instance I use the Zupercart mod, and if I set down my trolley then pick it back up in a store I pay $130 bucks for the trolley I already had. If I could get the item name and place it in the exemption list it would be ignored as a sale/theft if inside a store.

Hey just saw your discussion about a possible fix for parties spawning in your base. It's actually pretty easy to fix on your own. This is also a suggestion for @slayer.
Every house party in the mod is a scheduled event that and scripted to spawn once at given world age trigger. Just set "RegisterBase" event before each "BuildingParty" event in BWOScheduler.lua and you're golden. Won't work if you will be outside your home though.

Can you fix a bug where, when we drop an item or just leave it on the floor of a store, that item counts as a purchase? Can you fix this? It's really annoying to drop an item or just let it fall on the floor and have it simply count as a purchase.

I wish I would be able to tell where the objective from the dream is. Like being able to find the exact room instead of just wandering around until I either find it, or everything gets nuked.

hi slayer first, great mod i can t play anymore pz without this. Second, is it normal to zombies around me vanish after loading a game? it happens every time i load a game, all zomboids in my fov radius disappear, it s immersion breaking and only happens with week one mod enabled

Where do you buy cigarettes? Every single store I've checked in Louisville doesn't sell them. Only place I've found any is on the corpses of bandits killed by mobs of civilians or cops.

i always have plenty of money for things but whatever it says you pay, its actually 1 dollar less so it gets confusing. ive had bandits steal things in my house through walls, and issues sleeping where i wake up every hour or so for no reason and cant go back to sleep, leading to max tiredness...

@Kingdark, easy way I found was to hang by police stations, if you're police, just enter an office or jail section and wait there you'll get 1 dollar frequently. If inmate bandits spawn in the jail cells somehow, you can shoot them for the 5 moneys every shot. And lots of them carry money bundles, which are worth 100 each, so you can get thousands from one guy. No need to be police either to loot them.
Another way is to "accidentaly" run over NPCs without killing them, if they go into crawl status you can heal them (right-click>heal person) for 50 bucks. NPC cars don't stop for pedestrians either so you might get a few that way.
@the pooterman, saying sorry to NPCs will get most of them to stop attacking you, good luck typing it before they kill you though
