[B42] Week One NPC
Question: NPC Guard Post Command
So, I've been trying to command the NPCs using the G key, and it's been letting me place locations to guard (I think that's what this is supposed to do), but they don't actually follow the instructions and go to the designated area; is this due to a lack of weapon on their part, or is there some other issue I'm not aware of?

Any advice would be appreciated! *thumbs up*

How dod they start following you? There is only one start follower. Or did you ask them to join you?
I've also found with the person that starts off with you that you have to ask them to follow you before you're able to give them a guard command.

If you type "Join me" you can force anyone to join you. I use it to check houses for people.

When I was trying to do this, I had 4-5 people following me, and I asked them to "Join me!" and they followed me like little ducklings--it's both cute and kinda annoying, but neither my original "babe" or the other people I was leading went to the spots I highlighted. Is this not a common issue? If it's not, then this just might be a mod incompatibility issue or something.

Thanks for the info, I'll try this out when I get a chance.

how do you make them stay or guard the place?

From what I understand, you need to press G on keyboard and it brings up a tile selection visual, and you just right click on the spot you want them to guard.
You kinda have to "lead" them into those spots to make them think of staying there. If they are too far away from them or don't have any active tasks, they tend not to move there from my observations
