[potental spoiler] The Malevolence
So doing a CIS campaign and got the campaign story act 3 and the main objective is to build the Malevolence. And I don't know how or where to build it. I have the good cyborg general himself over Mon Cala with capital ship shipyards in orbit but nothing pops up.

Maybe wait a few weeks? I had already taken Mon Cala and after Act 2 ended I had a story mission happen suddenly on Mon Cala. After completing that the Malevolence became available to build over the plant beside Mon Cala, iirc it's called Pennant.

Tried that and moved the two important characters over to Pennant (or is it Pemmant? either way) and waited three in game months the only thing I could build was the standard version of the Malevolence (forgot what its called but the one without the good general onboard).

I am having the same issue as you. Not sure if my campaign is screwed since I can't take Kamino without the Malevolence. Did you find any fixes? I tried digging around in the XML files to no avail
