How does the Water and Electricity shut off not working? It always reverts to default or something else?

@[BRTD]Luewen When we try to change the Water and Electricity options in Sandbox Options, no matter what we select, they always stay at the default. The option appears to have changed, but in the code, it always remains at the default value.

I’m not sure if the Water and Electricity options always revert to default, but as I mentioned, there is an issue where the option appears to change, yet in the code, it remains at the default value.

I just tested it, and the changes we make to the options appear to be saved in the map_sand.bin file, but there is no effect in the game. I hope it's just staying at the default settings.

Hmmmm. I wonder if that has something to do with the 2 different options for both electricity and water shut off. If only 1 of them is actually saving.

But if both revert to default, its gonna be annoying if you set it to 6-12 months and it always shuts off after 2 months or so. Luckily it only means new save and copying settings file but still annoying. Hopefully they will fix it soon

One setting is the day length in hours. There is no time tab. I play with the 24 hour day, but sometimes I want time to pass really fast and the fast forward isn't good enough. I was thinking of changing the day length but it seems that the option isn't available with this mod.

This mod only allows you to access the sandbox settings that come with the game's -debug feature, so I won’t be adding any extra features. If other b42 sandbox settings mods have a time tab, I recommend using them.

If you can’t find the time tab in other sandbox settings mods, I recommend waiting for the game’s upcoming updates.

I would like to help, but I spent 1 or 2 weeks trying to add this time tab to the sandbox settings and couldn't do it, so I gave up. I'm sorry I couldn't help.
it doesn't seem like my house alarms frequency is actually being updated? I tried reducing the frequency because i seem to be setting off almost every house alarm, but even on 'extremely rare' it was still almost every house. so I turned it to 'never' and I just set off a house alarm. do I need to uninstall and reinstall the mod or is it bugged right now?

Thank you for your for your answer! I haven't found any mods that allow the change of the time setting, but I have found a solution to do it myself. I create an identical save with a different time setting. I get the map_sand.bin file (sandbox setting file) from the new save and overwrite the one in my current save. When I reload the save (reenter the world), the day length gets changed. The game seems to run just fine. I haven't noticed anything breaking yet.

Fire spread keeps resetting back to its initial setting

Edit: I think it is Bandits week one that is messing with my settings! It probably updates the loot tables and stuff live so I gotta wait until the beginning of the true game
