New genes and what you'd like to change.
Hi! How about adding the Overcharger gene? Passively gives health regeneration and 25% faster movement speed underwater and on land. It also gives the ability (R) Overcharge, which gives the player invulnerability for 5/8 seconds (the player will be engulfed by red lightning or something like that, and his screen will be coloured red).

Seems quite powerful. Might add something simular to that as a Special Gene. However, the Exosuit Husk gene already gives immense damage resistance on taking damage. I dont think the invulnerability part is needed.

Personally I'd like to see more "support/utility" genes or generally creative genes, instead of "godlike op" stuff or blatant stat-increases.
Specifically: genes that increase functionality more for your crew instead of just yourself.

Maybe something like a third-arm that allows you to carry something in it such as a crate or maybe you can become an "electrical conduit" for a moment [maybe add a % health-damage every so often] to give a charge to a battery.
Thanks for the idea, by the way! For example, the gene called “Pack Leader” is a command gene that increases attack speed by 15%, increases defense against bleeding by 50%, and increases damage to enemies by 20%. When activating the ability “Battle Cry” to the letter (R) Increases the movement speed, swimming speed and attack speed of all nearby companions by another 15% The ability lasts for 15 seconds and after the end of “Battle Cry” takes 120 seconds to recharge

I recommend removing the Watcher model from the Watcher gene, it just looks terrible and also interferes with accessories (in my case hats).
By the way how about adding an impurity cleaning function for vanilla genes? and for these one: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2967334496

Is the Husk Chimera Genes in? And if not I'd love if it gave you the crazy arm claws that thing has rather than a flat stat increase. Maybe creature attack button to triggger them, or a button that lets you spawn a weapon in hand.

You're gonna love the huskified storage container gene then (Its already in)

It allows you to equip a far larger toolbelt whenever you have the gene equipped. Where you are the storage.

Husk chimeras in, Its a special tier gene that you have to craft. It gives you ONE resurrection from death, upon dying. (Dont press give in with it equipped)

A enhanced version of the fractal guardian genes would be a cool idea.
Maybe one that locks a arm off, and instead gives you essentially a cannon on one of your arms would be nice.
Something like the Portal Guardian's cannons smaller of course.

Exosuit husk gene is too good, kinda ruined the feeling of vulnerability for me and my crew, suggest making it only obtainable by salvaging with ridiculously rare odds, like EA's Prototype USB key rare
