Robotic Servitude Suggestions
Basically what the title says, any mechs you would like to see in your games?

Lesser tech melee variants for those of us who want combat units to rush at our foes /
/A mech that buffs others ranged or melee mechs attack depending on the type you build/
/A mech that can awaken a small group of other mechs once every seven days/
/A mech that can do surgery and has the ability to turn corpses into new labourers but not more advanced types /

Heavy combat mechs, maybe one with rocket pods and another with a large shield and minigun.

totally not inspired by helldivers.

Heart - Steel
We - Kill
On to War!

Also as a helldiver I really despise the mini gunner types.

i hate them, but at the same time i love the challenge of getting past that shield for a headshot

I'd like to suggest advanced models that have all the resurrection tech installed internally so they can wear humanoid armor on the outside. Give me those undead cataphracts! ^^ Alternatively, just a generally more advanced combat servitor with better armor and skills, maybe requiring high or ultra mech tech.

Also, how about upgrades? Maybe self-installing stuff like the mechanitor implants? Would be cool to stuff even more advanced tech into these guys to improve or specialize them further.

Interesting idea, keep in mind certain projects would require heavy changes to the code. . . Looking at the mech upgrades on that part, which could be its own separate mod

some advanced mech that can create its own laborers from corpses maybe? could also be able to fix malufunctions in other laborers

Or something passive, like that little propaganda mechanoid from the Vanilla Expanded module, the one that's basically just a loudspeaker on wheels. Could just trundle around the colony all day giving everyone in earshot a mood buff, or some other buff (e.g. learning rate).
Research would feel kinda off to me; that's too complex a task to perform for mechanoids as I understand them. I'd still take it of course, but I'd be sceptical.
If it were to become a combat mech, it'd need to be a really long-range one (think dart gun) because I don't see something this size hold up against even a tribal throwing rocks at it otherwise ^^.

a reanimator type that has a built in deadlife popper for a quick temporary numbers boost when necessary. could maybe even function as a mech control extender

maybe some lesser ones that dont require a full corpse, just human meat. could just be like some little scavenger/hauler types that are only marginally better at combat than vanilla lifters due to having spikey bits and/or saws

for some more inspiration you could always check out the Strogg from Quake, Phyrexians from Magic the Gathering and Cryx from Warmachine
I don't really use any of the Anomaly stuff but I second Mad Marl's Deadlife Popper and also suggest disposable suicide Labourers that explode on death. It's be funny rushing them onto hordes of tribals.

Also maybe a Matriach Equivalent from Alpha Mechs can snap a Labourer out of Breaks and maybe improves speed and has a remote command area so it can lead other mechanoids.

Maybe it's worth adding a larger walking robot like the "factory strider" from helldivers, it will produce temporary units that will die after a fight or something like that

I find it interesting how so many people want a variant that releases/does something to a corpse, then you get more laborers/zombies/whatever you want to call it.

Though these are all interesting ideas for a direction to go towards
