So I just finished the civil war and reunified America, and am now working my way through the focus tree to reconstruction. The only problem is, and this was happening before the end of the civil war too, that I have a steady increase in inflation that can't seem to be stopped.

Every month my inflation increases and doesn't seem to be stopping. I set my interest rates to max, and even implemented quantitative tightening, but it only slowed down the inflation and it keeps steadily growing.

I'm worried that the inflation will eventually overtake my GDP, so I have to ask if anyone has figured out how to economy mechanics work, and how to stop inflation from crippling you later into the game.
