The lack of explanation for how exactly you are supposed to make material elevators work is rather dampening on my want to use this mod in the future. I want to make a multilevel bunker base, but can't figure out how to connect the material elevators, and seeing the question in the comments and in the discussions here, I'm not the only one.

Those enlightened with the knowledge, please bestow that upon us. While it would be nice if the mod author would explain how some of the systems actually work, anyone who has managed to glean their secrets would be welcome.
