so if i get raided by someone will they come down the stairs or will they just walk around the surface aimlessly?

From what i've seen they don't use stairwells yet, so they'll just wander around aimlessly like you said.

Granted i've only tested it on the scavenger group start's parking lot which has a vehicle ramp, haven't tested the escalators on the other maps.

Im pretty sure the AI has no way to pathfind to attack you through the stairs. And there are not any special raids in the mod that I can see
