Ancient amorphous threat
Ideas for new Amorphous types
Let me just say, this mod is amazing. The boss fights, the lore, the fact that the amorphous can actually join your colony and there are consequences to her joining (colonists don't like her, plus she gives off radiant heat that they don't like). Plus, they are lore friendly, being excused as people who were either experimented on/victims of the Void and/or the ancients.

Currently, our amorphous threat is very combat-oriented. Dropping turrets and grenades as psycasts. She takes less damage, and is very good at aiming and melee. She's great as a weapon for defending and attacking settlements, but is only ok everywhere else.

So what if we had different amorphous types? I know the mod is new, and the author probably won't add more types any time soon, but wouldn't it be great to have more specialized amorphous threats, along with their own strengths, weaknesses, boss mechanics and colonists mechanics?

On top of my head, as I was playing, here are some example Amorphous threats that I thought would be cool:

Amorphous Verdant Corruptor: An amorphous threat that forces you to fight her by slowly killing every flora in the map driving animals out due to starvation and causing colonists to go hungry, she will even affect hydroponics. She attacks by causing constant growth of tree shaped turrets that spawn void bees that causes toxic buildup, + root walls that forces colonists to stay in place. Very susceptible to fire. As a colonist, any plant she's near of gets a 500% growth rate bonus, and she is constantly surrounded by a bunch of bees that drop honey that gives a mood bonus to colonists. Like the amorphous threat, she has a constant social debuff due to being surrounded by bees that irritate colonists.

Amorphous Will-Bender: Causes nearby settlements within your colonies range to become hostile. Attacks by causing colonists to go berserk, catatonic, or temporarily turning them into pacifists incapable of violence. She's a glass cannon, and will die rather easily as she depends on constant raids and colonists attacking her to actually do any meaningful damage. As a colonist, She is a walking mood positive. Always saying kind words, cheering people up. As long as she's a colonist, any mental break results in immediate catharsis instead of whatever mental break was going to happen. Traders will sell things for pennies on the dollar. Recruiting will breeze by as she is very convincing (she bends minds, of course she is). As a social drawback, being near her causes colonists to feel uneasy about their mental state, feeling like they're losing their free will causing them to doubt her.

Amorphous All-Mother: Winston Waves as a boss fight. Constant daily waves while she lives, consisting of void swarmlings and hulks. As a colonist, she's, well, a mother. Like Will-Bender, she's very well liked due to her motherly nature. She will prioritize Children above everything else. She can feed babies, and gives a natural mood buff to babies and children while she's a colonist. Learning speed in increased, and children are naturally more prone to prefer being taught a lesson by Mother than any other learning ways. She can psycast adds, void creatures she refers to as her children. Naturally, parents of children will socially dislike her as they don't feel safe having a void creature feeding and taking care of their children. When she's around, they Happy Youngsters mood buff is replaces by Joyous Children, giving +15 instead.

Oh man, I started yapping so much, and the mechanics I thought off are very hard to implement, but it would be so nice to have more Amorphous types than just "Threat". Hell, they can even be their own xenotype race having different genes for their type. I absolutely love this mod, and I only had it for a day. Kudos to the author, and I hope he/she makes more soon, Even if I have to wait months for it.

I am busy with other mods and programmers may not have much time in recent years. Perhaps in the future, I will create a similar type of xenotype

it would be interesting to see a boss who will infect territories or colonists, which will cause mutations or as with AMOGUS jokes:Myo:. I am writing Russian on this through a translator (sorry for the crooked English)
