- I'm not sure I understand what is being limited. I'm assuming you are using additional part packs, because the customization on the faction soldiers are already quite limited.
- Loading time spikes are a bit.. unavoidable unfortunately. I'm still exploring ways on handling that better without messing up the game, but we will see.
- Not sure I understand this issue. By scrolling you mean using the mouse scroll wheel on the custom sliders or on the color palette panel? Also, unfortunately there's a lot of bugs with the default sliders in XCOM as is, which unfortunately aren't fully fixable.
- The names for some body parts now look like `leg_KEV_B` due to them not having proper localization. I'm gonna see about a method of giving them more "default" names so they don't look like that, much like the base game. As for icons, I believe I fixed mods not showing their icons in the names for body parts, but if you do have a mod that no longer displays the icon from the mod in the name, can you link me to it so I can see how they're setting up the icon?
- Eye Extender isn't compatible yet. It's gonna be something I try and make compatible for 1.2
- I can see about adding an option for enabling the soldier resizing, so it doesn't end up stomping other mods that do something similar
By being limited I mean both that there are greyed options category, like I can't click on the torso to change it on skirmisher and templar, and that when I can enter a category,it miss a LOT of options, basically all the mods can't be used there. (gonna try to get some pics to show what I mean)
Spikes yeah I didn't expect those to be fixable so its cool.
For Icons I'll have to look them up each so it'll take a bit.
For the scrolling,I was using this (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1131906393) which work fine in the creation stuff, but when it come to override colors it kinda doesn't and is real laggy there.
As for the names, they working fine on URC with a proper name,in this one they get those internal looking name, gonna show with the pic too.
For the eyes yeah it would be really great, thx for that.
For the size yeah if you could make it so it doesn't override other mods doing it it'll be great.
As for the names, checking more its that URC don't use the underline while Dollhouse do,which make it feel weird but I guess that one is a preference thing mostly, tho some names are different too,if you feel like making it an option like the sorting it would be neat,I don't wanna feel like I'm demanding.
Pic just to show how it look between the 2,not sure why my skirmish have more options here. (https://imgur.com/a/sPCOi02)
Also thats me but I think having the sections load as you go while nice to avoid the initial lagspike, when its all loaded, everytime you switch torso, you get a mini lagspike, which was avoided when everything was loaded at once.
I assume its cause after each time you stop hovering a torso,it switch back to the one you selected/clicked last,so it go hover>selected>hover>selected and it make the mini lagspike everytime.
That one is my preference so feel free to discard it,but I think all at once was better since after that,it was free of it while checking the torsos.
Btw it doesn't spike with other categories, but only torsos (prob cause I have a lot lol,but yeah in URC it wouldn't spike after the first loading).
But yeah its the little things, overall really when you get the eyes and size to work/compatible it will be great, (and maybe the torso lagspikes between each selection),keep up the good work!
Also heard there was some problems with weapons, but I didn't try to play yet with this one on,since so far I'm trying to make it work nicely without spikes and compatibilities (cause without the eye and size mods, they all get kinda changed around)
As for weapons, yeah theres probably weapon customization mods that are interfering. Slowly trying to work em out as I go
- I cannot change eye material in the additional settings. It just does not work when I change default/eyeExtender options. Only default eyes.
- Vanilla reapers and templars thighs options have static colors. I cannot change it by usual way or by the additional PDH options.
- When I enable colors override in the additional settings - it is impossible to disable it for using usual colors again. I mean check/uncheck checkboxes just do nothing.
Other issue, is with part names not showing up correctly in the list. This happens with both older and newer mods. I personally created a localization mod ,using Add Part Names using instructions by Robojumper. This has worked for me with both UCR and Appearance Manager, but I'll try with those disabled
- Can you change the eyes with EYExtender disabled? Have you also tried with other mods disable except for Project Dollhouse?
- I've tried looking into this with no success - what I've found out is that items that have cloth physics, such as those thighs, cannot have their materials updated. I tried digging around to see how I can make that work, but to no avail. I also tried asking around, but nobody seems to know the answer to that one.
- I tested this now and it works locally, so to me that indicates you have some sort of mod conflict happening. That would also explain why the Eye override isn't working for you. Can you try shutting off all other mods except for Project Dollhouse?
- For the issue where parts are changing whenever you exit the soldier customization and going back - I've no idea what this is being caused by. Are you running any other mods that deal with modifying how a unit works? Can you try shutting off mods other mods and seeing where a conflict shows up?
- I need more info, define how they are showing up incorrectly. Is it a straight up unlocalized name? Is the name not matching to what you set it up to with your own localization? Also, appearance manager is not compatible with this mod, as mentioned in the description.
For the second issue, if you friend me on Discord, I can send screenshots to you direct.
- I tried to shut off other mods except required X2WOTCCommunityHighlander, DLC2CommunityHighlander (and EyeExtender & DollHouse). The result is the same - I can choose default/skirmisher/glowing...etc eye material but it changes nothing - only vanilla eyes. I have the problem with not working checkboxes in the additional settings after first enabling as well. What are the possibles reasons for this?
- Actually, update on this. Fixed the cloth - found my stupid mistake there.
Unsure. If the link doesn't work, join the XCOM 2 modding discord and find the `release-update-previews` channels with the Project Dollhouse thread and post a video there if possible. I need to see whats happening there.
Going to change main armor color freezes the game.
EDIT : Made sure that all million colors mods and other incompatible mods were removed.
*Did a quick light .ini cleanup.
Working like a charm now!
