Idea for an upgrade
Loopholes in the armor of combat vehicles with the ability to carry passengers, like Tango. Allows passengers to shoot through them without dismounting from their equipped weapon.

How about a turret modification for the Bulldog that replaces the gun with a uranium slug turret gun, something for VIP/ heavily armored infantry removal.

Absolutely. Weapon slits/gun ports are something I have been wanting since the vehicle framework first came out. Battle buses and firing from the back of pick-ups are genre-fitting for the mad max, frontier, and post-apocalyptic setting of Rimworld

Mounted mashinegun and gunnerseat on pickups. Sidecar with machine gun for charley. Power Barrier Installer on DirtBike. Mine-lander on Scytheman. Energycanon for Bulldog(Like on vanilla tank wreck). Heavy artillery or AntiAir on Wisent. BangBus, Snatcher and Wagon with radar for seaching AirUnits or invisible creatures. Gun on Paladin, Gun on Nomad.

I love that idea. But I also have something oposite to slug to instal double miniguns instead of high armor piercing turret

More turret options. I would love to have some specialist options.

In game I am only now getting vehicles and would love to be able to swap out the turrets for various threats. As I plan on moving on a mechanoid carrier I replace the tanks turret with an EMP option, while the APC I replace with a fire-foam sprayer to keep the Vanilla expanded mechanoid Inquisitor's fires down.

I get not wanting to have tier 3 vehicles get upgrades but I still wish that was an option.

Half-track for mule. Ignore offroad and winter snowdon, high world travel speed, but low movement speed and acceleration. The front wheels are like off-road tires. Instead of the rear wheels of the track. Mutually exclusive with: big chemtank.The harsh answer to permafrost

with the 'Charley', could have saddle bags for more storage, a sidecar for an extra pawn, with racks for storage or even a MG, may be a bit extreme but could also have an off road/snow upgrade like the real life Moto Guzzi Mulo Meccanico 3x3

In honor of horror games i feel that surround lighting should be an upgrade for all vehicles. being able to have 1 car acting as a mobile lamp while a kill team runs through the unnatural darkness sounds fun.
for the Scytheman 3 upgrades, 2 can't be equipped at the same time, 1 first a front mounted gun a mini turret, 2, missile targeting equipment slower to fire more accurate can't be equipped with 3, and 3 bigger missiles less to fire costs more per missile more damage can't be equipped with 2

Wisent 1, cargo moving upgrade, less space for pawns more cargo weight
