Note that while actual solutions are protected by spoiler tags, the descriptions are inherently somewhat spoiler-y, so you probably shouldn't read this unless you're actually stuck.

Situation: I see a group of five statues in a cave. When I try to interact with them, they hurt me! Ouch!
Hint: Go back to the western arch and look for a book. It will provide a cryptic hint on how to proceed.
Solution Part 1: You will need to touch the statues in the correct order in order to proceed. Whenever you make a mistake, you will need to start over again from the beginning.
Solution Part 2: Elf, Dwarf, Orc, Troll.

Situation: I can't beat the boss in the cave!
Hint: There are many possible strategies, depending on your character and companion. If you are a shaman or have Dalmin, look for the Earth Elemental to the east. You can also try manipulating the pillars around the room, which will bring allies to your side.

Situation: I can't get onto Pier 23!
Solution: There are a bunch of possible solutions here, depending on your character's etiquettes and skilled. One option available to all characters is to first explore the pier to the north until you find a damaged rowboat. Then, backtrack towards the start of the map until you find a crate filled with lumber. Use the lumber to repair the boat and cross over to the pier.

Situation: I can't cross the bridge!
Hint: There are multiple possible ways to resolve this. If all else fails, you can try returning to the first room on this map and look for a clue on the wall.
Solution: If you have a decker with you, you can jack into the matrix and completely disable bridge security. Otherwise, the secret is to cross the bridge while only stepping on solid-colored tiles; stepping on any tiles with patterns will knock you back off the bridge. It's generally easier to cross the bridge in straight lines rather than moving on diagonal.

Situation: I’m in the catacombs. I’ve killed everyone, but can’t get through the locked door.
Hint: You’ll need to manipulate the lights in order to open the door.
Solution: There are three statues in the catacombs, each displaying one of the three primary colors. Touching each statue will turn its color on or off. In the central hallway, you’ll see the resulting color created by the combination of the three settings. You’ll need to create one color for each of the three candles in the following room. Whenever you’ve matched a candle’s color, its barrier will disappear and you’ll be able to snuff it out. Snuffing all three candles will open the door.

Situation: In Redding Under Siege, I keep on killing enemies, but more keep appearing!
Solution: The gang will continually reinforce their positions until you accomplish your objectives. Killing individual fighters will make things easier for you in the short term, but keep pushing forwards towards your goals.

Situation: I'm pretty sure I'm near the very end of the game. This fight is reeeeeally long. What's the deal?
Hint: There are a few different ways to advance to the next phase of this fight, which can vary depending on your team makeup.
Solution 1: If you have a decker, jack in to Tir's mobile uplink terminal. Destroying their field equipment is the most effective way to move to the next phase.
Solution 2: Otherwise you can endure against Tir for as long as possible. It will automatically advance to the next phase after enough combat rounds have elapsed.
Solution 3: If all else fails or you're feeling really bored, sacrifice one of your teammates. The death of your character or one of your companions will end the first phase of the battle.

Situation: I’m underground, stuck in a small rocky cave, and enemies keep on coming forever! WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?!
Solution: You’ll need to shoot the walls down in order to escape. Targeting can be a little wonky, but try clicking near the waypoint to the southwest.
