Bug Reports
Use this thread to report bugs with the mod.

Known Bugs:
- Sleepwalker Hirelings' masks are expensive as all get-out to recolour. This will be fixed in the next update. This has been fixed in 1.10c.
- Sleepwalker Hirelings do not revive on death. This will be fixed in the next update. This has been fixed in 1.10c.
- Custom Hireling augments are showing up at Fence's store. This will be fixed in the next update. This has been fixed in 1.10c.
- Sleepwalker Hirelings are extremely expensive to hire. This has been fixed in 1.10c.
- Tinkerer Hirelings do not show up in the recruit pool. This will be fixed in the next update. This has been fixed in 1.10c.
- If a character is grappled while playing a death animation, it softlocks the game. This is a basegame bug and I have no idea how to fix it.
- VR Training Buddy hirelings completely drop your framerate if they get set on fire. I have no idea how to fix this. This was a basegame bug and was fixed with update Beta v2.14.d.
- If you give a Hireling a weapon without giving them a sidearm, they tend to put their weapon on their back and throw hands. Not sure how to go about fixing this. For now, the best solution is to give all of them a sidearm.
- For some people, it seems like the increased Max Roster Size isn't working. If anyone has consistently been able to replicate this or has any information about it, please let me know (either through this thread, or by messaging me, @wingidon, on Discord.)
- Reinforcements are accidentally back to their vanilla spawn delay. This will be fixed in the next update. This has been fixed in 1.10g.
- After cracking a layer of the vault in the Heist, the dialogue about the Van shows up but the Van itself isn't there. This is one I've been unable to replicate, so if anyone has any info on it, let me know. This apparently fixed itself.
- Startup crash. This is also an issue I've been unable to replicate, so again, if anyone has any info on it, let me know.
- Broke every mod that the user TankProject had installed. Once more, if anyone has any info on this, let me know, as I am unable to replicate this.
- Apparently the camera no longer zooms in when executing enemies. Need to look into this.
- When a Zed Hireling finishes off an enemy, it does not convert them into a Zed, even if they lack the Unconvertable trait. Need to test this.
- Hirelings above Level 30 sometimes don't gain skills on level-up. Need to look into this.
- Troopers, for some Maker-forsaken reason, have broken AI when given weapons. At least, on my end. If anyone else is experiencing this or has any information regarding it, please let me know. This has been fixed in v1.14a
- Depending on which mods you have installed, Trooper summons sometimes do not work. Unfortunately, if I'm correct on the source of this, it is not an issue I can easily remedy myself. I will try to fix this if I can think of a way.

Optional Addon Known Bugs:
- Mag Agents: Sometimes, for some reason, every Hireling in a recruit pool from Bossman is a Mag Agent. I do not know how or why this has happened, but it has been reported twice. If anyone has any info on it, reach out and let me know.

Considering most of the other mods I'm using are origin or weapons, I'm thinking that the recent game update broke something of the hireling system from this mod.
Clicking "Do It" when summoning new recruits does not close the dialogue box (but still functions), and only a couple of recruits show up instead of the dozen+ that this mod used to do, sometimes nobody shows up making me waste 50 bucks.

To CURSED SOUL: It sounds like your game hasn't actually downloaded the update on the actual workshop side of the mod. As a result, it fails to find some of the character files partway through the recruitment call and stops the script as a failsafe.

I think I've got a solution for you. Navigate to /SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/488860/ and delete the folder called 3279956923, then unsubscribe and re-subscribe to the mod. That should force Steam to re-download it, but it's likely you'll need to re-enable it once you've started your game back up.

Seems to have worked, thanks! However, now I'd like to report another potential bug where the Sleepwalker hirelings (now appearing properly at Bossman) cost a whopping $40k just to hire. I don't think it's just recoloring their masks that are expensive haha.
Anyway, keep up the great work, this is one of the most fun mods on the workshop right now.

am i the only one having this issue? Im unable to bring more hirelings with me, just 5 in total

To mr.faus.to.daniel: This is a known bug and will be fixed in the next update.
To MBreast: You haven't downloaded and installed the Assembly-CSharp.dll file properly.

I have, this problem started after i got a new imprint. the hirelings stopped chearing, i can only summon noob recruits, no more unique hirelings show up when i summon them for recruitment. And as i said before, i can only bring 5 with me, even tho i brought with me alot more pre-new-imprint.
Wingidon  [developer] Sep 2, 2024 @ 6:16pm
The problem wasn't triggered by you getting a new imprint, MBreast. It would've been triggered by the game updating. Each time it does, you'll need to wait for me to get this mod updated to the newer version, then re-install the Assembly-CSharp.dll file.
MBreast Sep 2, 2024 @ 6:26pm
Oh ok, when will the update come?
Wingidon  [developer] Sep 2, 2024 @ 6:26pm
The mod has already been updated to the latest version, you just need to re-install the Assembly-CSharp.dll.

@Wingidon did you removed the Hireling_Tinkerer off of that Assembly-CSharp.dll file?
Wingidon  [developer] Sep 6, 2024 @ 4:48pm
Yes, it does appear that I have accidentally removed the Tinkerer in a recent update. This will be fixed in the next update.

I have just fixed several of the bugs in this thread.

If you encounter any bugs in the new update, please notify me.

Got curious regarding the VR Buddy fire lag and made a quick test origin with a VR Buddy base that was totally fireproof and went to go set myself on fire - no lag
maybe the same can be done for the VRBuddy hirelings? though my little bit of testing could just be moot as I also summoned regular vr buddies in, and chucked a few molotovs at them and nothing happened
maybe its some weird jank with the hero trait interacting with vr buddies and fire
