[B42/B41] Bandits NPC (v2)
[BUG REPORT] Bandit spawned as Zombie instead human (admin spawn)
As title say.

- Spawn via admin's context menu (bandit spawn menu).
- Both friendly & bandit AI are spawned as naked zombie.
- AI icon still show friendly (green) or bandit (red).
- Behave just like a regular zombie.
- Not sure if auto-spawn is bug as manual.
- Installed & work perfectly fine for months, only happen today.
- Here is the error each time I manually spawn them via admin menu:

This also happens to me. I thought it was just me because I wrote a critical message on the Week One mod

Same me for as well. Been running a dedicatd server with Bandit for months, no reset and everything is perfectly fine, suddenly bugged out just like this.

Checking my console, it said the same thing.

might be because global moddata seems to too big. You can try the option as admin to remove the bandits, its in the right click menu, it clears the mod data that holds bandit info, it could be other mods that are also contributing to global moddata size. you can try new world too and eliminate other mods just for testing this out.

you comment was simply disrespectful friend. Critical comments are welcome. Let me give you a lesson what critical comments is because someting must have failed in your life up to this moment since you don't know this.. Firstly it avoids words as "sucks" because they are kinda vulgar and not introduce any concrete information. Then you provide with explanation what exactly is that you don't like with examples and even better provide a solution that you would rather see. Thirdly it avoids manipulation in which you claim that your opinion is an opinion of everyone else. Being respectful is important in real life and also in internet. Many modders like me invested thousands of hours into their work. Some modders resigned from what they do because of comments such as yours.

I don't see any clear/wipe/remove all bandit menu anywhere, would you be a little more specific my friend?

- The global moddata COULD BE the cause, need to confirm.
- Regenerate new world is a big no no for a 24/7 dedicated server friend.
- As I said from previous msg, no more new mod added, everything was locked-in and been playing for months without any issue.

Like... so weird, out of no where bug.

Okay so if this is an old world then it's even more possible that the global moddata got huge.

In order to clear it you must be admin or in debug mode (sorry I don't remember which one is it). Then in the game you right click to invoke a context menu and there will be and option which name i dont recall exactly but it should be Delete Bandits or [DBG] Delete All Bandits.

I’m very sorry for my comment. Please forgive me. I was angry and had a hard time controlling my emotions. I’ll do my best to be more respectful and constructive next time

This issue likely stems from recent updates, as previous versions worked without any problems.

I launched the game with -debug mode enabled and used the "DBG Remove All Bandits" function. It does work—temporarily. After a few minutes, however, bandits start spawning as zombies again.

it's rather that too much data accumulated in global moddata over time. Other mods also contribute to accumulation and at some point it reaches the threshold. I remember that True Music mod for example was storing a lot of data too. One would need to debug this manually by analyzing whats inside the data. Also you could see how big is the file on your server that stores this data after clearing the bandits and when problem returns. In your saves, the file is named global_mod_data.bin

It's only about 5-10mb. Anyway, I initiated the world restart already.

Brother, help! When I activate the mod, an error appears, and when I enter a new world, no NPC appears. All I see is a zombie.
playing this one in solo no ncp

Some errors occuring constantly, modlist says exactly "Bandits" causing them, quz a couple of hours earlier i fixed one with "Firearms B42", which was bugging in pair with "Bandits" mode

Feels like the reason is in problems with spawning bandits and/or hostile events since there had been none of them thru 2-3 days of playing

If someone tell me how to copypaste bugreport i'll gladly do that

UPD: so yea, continued to play same save, preliminarily unsubbed->subbed to all of necessary mods, and still there are errors constantly occuring, like error counter rises every half-second, and only mod highlightened as not working is this one

Bandits appear on the roof of the gas station, there are no stairs, it is impossible to reach them
