Is this mod compatible with STFR (Small Town First Responders)?

If not, are there any compatible police mods that modify the game's default settings to make it more realistic?

It is a great mod but please add talking to this mod and not just week 1 mod

@Whereareyouaimingat???? i mean, this mod is kinda unplayable for your 2 reason and cuz is terrible unbalanced. And i dont thing you can fix any of those.
Without this mod a veteran player can pretty much survive indefinetely, with bandits for me its very hard to survive one week. Is not that you need to adapt, its that you are completely dependent on the RNG of the buggy bandits.
But at the same time is soo refreshing and challenging that make you play with it anyway.

@slayer i can very easly recreat issue nr2 in dev mode. and i can see that the zombies will not attack the NPC's and pathfind to the player when they are inrange to attack. its so zombies wont even actually attack the NPC's. only the player when the player is observing. if you go invisible in dev mode. it actually gets kinda fixed. but then also bugs out and the npc's and zombies will freeze in place for a while

Bandits seem to be one-shotting/shooting the head despite being set on "Stormtrooper Mode" :(

A couple of issues with the otherwise great mod:

1. The NPC's have no sense of sound. Screaming at them or shooting your gun will have 0 effect if they don't see you. They won't do anything. (So shooting them from behind will make them not even React!)

2. There is a weird bug that is pretty game breaking that when the NPC's shoot at zombies the zombies will actually go to YOUR location instead of the bandits shooting at them. So when you are looking from far away most zombies will actually walk towards you instead of the bandits, and zombies that do will not even try to target the bandits. Even when they are right next to them! This bug makes is very hard to actually play it bc when a firefight is happening outside between bandits and other bandits or zombies. The zombies will actually just go to your house.... Even if you have not even seen the bandits or zombies!
(This one needs to be fixed bc you can actually die without it being your fault)

Also sometimes they spawn on roofs making it impossible to kill them...

3. friendly NPC interaction could be improved. The way how you interact with them is extremely basic and it would be nice if you have some more ways to interact with them. For example giving them weapons. Or some more specific orders.

4. NPC priority seems to be a bit wacky. They will ALWAYS try to go for the player. Even if another Bandit or zombie it right in front of them. Making them kill themselves just trying to get in range to shoot at you.

Hey, how do I make it so that only server admins can spawn bandits? And is it possible to set bandits to attack players but not players from their faction? For example, admins?

Shacking up in the Rusty Rifle makes all the bandits spawn on a single roof of a nearby house, any way to fix this?

Does anyone know why on every MP server I join which includes this mod, there seems to be choppy frame rate? The last server I was on looked into it and found it to be this mod, they removed it and the game ran like silk. Everyone on the server was experiencing the issue so its not an issue with my client. I've just tried playing on another MP server that has this mod and the problem is evident again. It seems this mod causes choppy frames, not low frame rate, just as you walk, you can see it skipping and walking seems to be really steppy. Has anyone else noticed this? Cheers

@slayer really cool find, i found a bug that if you have the last of us mod install you find some bandits NPCs that are merged with their NPCs
no issues encountered yet, so cool again, you guys should talk about it and make it official,Idk lore about the last of us.

@Kane I think you gotta press G (by default) and then choose the place where they should stay with the little squere that pops up. (I don't remember how to revert that though. I don't have many friendies spawn and they get killed anyway xD)

@DRAGO1212 weird. i tried twice and i got over three months and 15 days on both and they kept spawning, but i started a new one and i changed the starting month in the sandbox settings and the bandits never spawned. i can't tell you anything about the lua because i don't know anything abt modding, sorry

Had this bug where roadblock spawned and then suddently all zombies became bandits but at the same time they weren't. What i mean by that is that they voice acted when unseen but when seen, they acted as zombies, sometimes even shoot whilst walking. When you killed them, they had items that normally a bandit would have like crowbar, gun, ammo, soap, wielding mask and gun etc. Very odd.

As far as I understand, this problem should be solved by the Bandits Extra Options mod. But unfortunately it is still not updated...

How can we prevent bandits from appearing on our base ??? One time we almost got killed because of this.... And I don't understand how they spawn. Why do they spawn mostly near our base, but when we move far away from it, they appear very rarely, probably with a 5-10% chance.

@cholgui In debug mode, the game reports an error in "banditsserverspawner.lua" on line 1049. The error occurs after 3 months of the apocalypse (3 months and 15 days in all tests I performed), regardless of the season.

This mod works great in 41.78 Multiplayer.
Just be aware that any other zombie mod might overwrite their path.

So far it work with these mod:

Wandering Zombies
Random Zombies
They know where you are (This mod overwrites Wandering Zombies whenever it triggers. So a huge horde of zombies are coming after you)


Incompatible mods:
Better FPS

(Better FPS reduces the rendering area around you, so NOTHING will load outside that area. So no Bandit will ever spawn, Because they are either too close or to far away)

Friendly bandits are pretty pointless if they die immediately to 2 zombies.

@DRAGO1212 i checked the clans.txt file and there are a bunch of them that qualify to spawn over the 60 days mark but none of them spawn at all. maybe the mod only works during summer because when i change the starting month i get the same outcome. if you ever find a way to fix it pls lmk

sometimes when i kill a bandit, the game will crash. the only way i know how to solve it is turning bandits mod off and back on
