BANDITS STABLE
One or two more updates and sometime this week Bandits Stable will be released. And this time I mean it ;)

It was a crazy 3 month coding marathon with lots of obstacles when it comes to overcoming game engine limits. I didn't know we would get to this point but I had a lot of drive to do it.

I want to thank you all for all the comments and feedback. Without your ideas, guidance, bug reports and a good word this would not be possible. I also want to express my gratitude for those who contributed directly to the code, art and sound of this mod.

After the release, I plan to update Bandits less frequently. I know so frequent updates are painful for server owners.

I also plan to build new mods using Bandits as a foundation for them. One of them will be released together with Bandits Stable.

I've been following this mod of yours since it was created after some friends of mine were talking about a new Project Zomboid NPC Mod on Discord, I became obsessed with how you managed to transform a simple mod that involved zombies using firearms and melee weapons, into a mod where zombies have basically turned into completely functional NPCs, even if some things are still bugged, but if you continue developing this mod, it will definitely work perfectly.

I thought this project of yours was quite ambitious at first, I even considered that it would just be a bad mod, but in the end it ended up surprising me a lot, I just don't want you to give up on it, at least not now, because I think that it could become one of the best mods in all of Project Zomboid so far.

Even if I can't donate a penny, I can express my gratitude through this text and how happy I am that you continued working so hard on this mod.

There would be any possibility of creating a negotiation mechanic? Like if a raider comes to kill you, you can negotiate with him and may he would leave the zone or something more complex.

Also great work men, the best NPC mod ever created.

A funny bug happened today.

I went into one of the houses to find the loot, the electricity was already off and so the house was dark. So I had to move cautiously as usual, holding my XM177 at the ready and illuminating myself with a flashlight mounted on the barrel of the rifle....

And so I cut the corner of the kitchen and saw two zombies, my finger on the trigger (LMB, lol) did its job before my brain, and only then I realize that one of the zombies did not rush at me at once, but hesitated a bit and.... raised his hands!

Of course, I immediately realized that it was a bug.
But this funny incident gave me some room for fantasy as I drove back to the shelter. I thought - "Hey, what if some zombies still have fragmented tiny bits of memory alive somewhere? What if they're hording and sticking close to towns and homes for a reason, but driven by an instinct that hasn't quite died down yet?! "
It was a rather grim feeling. I began to perceive the zombie apocalypse in this game a little differently.

Huh, very interesting experience. It wouldn't be possible without this mod (albeit through a fun bug, but still...). Thanks. :spiffo:

I think this was not a zombie but a npc. When hurt they attempt surrender sometimes
