Sadly I had to remove bandits from my main server.
The new persisting bandits is a gamechanger though. I'm making a second server with bandits about the military successfully killing all the zombies and taking over almost all of the map. They have orders to wipe out all the remaining survivors which includes the players in case they spread the infection.
I think it's probably a good idea to test zombie fps of the previous versions that came out the last 7 days so you know exactly which update caused zombies to go from very good performance to very bad to narrow down what change caused the zombie fps issue.
The only previous version of the mod I have is from September 2 so I'll see what I can find using java profilers.
Vanilla is 105fps, with bandits it's 84 fps, so now it's only a 20% fps drop from vanilla zombies.
