Too easy to get Adhesive compound (see Elver for proper way to do this, I.E, hard to get outside DZ, Easy to get inside DZ, literally don't need to go into the DZ at all to progress! soemone could jsut call in a top tier airdrop!)
Map is too small for bases
Most of the guns feel too low damage, I.E, Mini-14 doing 26 headshot damage? i know it's a Civ rifle, but it's also semi auto and will 5 tap head if soemone is wearing even a baseball cap.
Making meds is a pain in the ass, you have to get 2 pieces of clothes to make 1 healing item, good luck if you're bleeding out at 10HP!
Survivor clothes are useless, they get left at spawns and eat up item respawns, just remove them, really. (or make them scrappable, ig, so people will actually keep them for some reason.)
Increase buildable area by adding an oxygenerator, for water bases, and Adding a no build zone to most of the sky to reduce skybases (kinda redundant cause that's the point of the Airstrikes.)
Add some kind of lower tier sniper rifle that spawns with a scope so taking down high tier people with soem skill and not getting TTK-checked by an asset/Kompact that isn't as rare as the Police sniper (A Farm/Ranger spawn bolt action rifle.)
Now to kill someone u have to hit him with a gun literally over 100 times
However, players instinctively try to put them in those particular slots. Alongside that, many still have no idea about assigning items to other number keys. It would be best to allow these melees to be assigned to any slot, if a player has a weapon that only fits in primary then they can move the tertiary weapon out of that slot.
If I'm not mistaken the 'Any' setting for the enum allows for this, but if not, it would be worth requesting this feature from Nelson.
Those are my favourite rifles and I'd love to see it in this map and overall the way the characters operate the guns and how they feel is great.
This map feels like a whole new game.
You guys are great!
Thanks for the map.
Animation on unloading firearms shouldn't repeat the full reload animation, it should just take out the mag and not put the mag back in and rack the bolt.
This is also prevalent in tactical reloads (as in reloading with a loaded chamber) the animation should not just rack the bolt again.
Most melees just do way too much headshot damage against zombies. (Personal opinion, I am just way too used to most zombies needing to be 2-3 hitted in the head in vanilla and some other curated maps)
I think there needs to be a guide NPC like that one woman NPC in Arid beside that quest progress board that light up upon completing certain quests, to explain everything what is needed to be known, like how do you break those metal doors, where to get safezone key, etc etc.
There needs to be building border zones visible in the map like the ones from Arid and Elver
This also applies to the Private compared to CSO-85. They use the same ammunition, but the Private deals much higher zombie damage, while being semi-auto compared to the CSO-85's bolt action.
It just seems like PVE wasn't really taken into consideration with this map, with zombie damage being pretty all over the place.
