Repairing ships question
Which repair device will repair SV, HV, and its own CV?

I want to be able to repair the CV that the repair device that I build into my CV. I believe I read somewhere that RE2 has a device to repair its own ship. Is that Mobile Repair Bay, Advanced Mobile Repair Bay, or Repair Platform?

I'm currently in a Hot system with no Station Services, even though some of the Moons are supposed to have station services according to the Map. There are just some Colonist buildings here and a few traders.

You can use the repair platform on one CV to repair another CV.

Unless it's been changed, the repair platform will also repair the CV it's installed in. I've repaired my CV several times using this method. Haven't needed to do so for a few weeks. I'll check to be sure it still works.

I just checked, it still works. You have to set the repair to automatic and then you need to leave the ship and get far enough away that the big green blob of the repair field can light up, but it does work. It will repair blocks if you provide enough repair charges, and it will repair to template if you provide all the resources it says it will need to do the repair.

I would also like to especially thank both ravien and vermilion for adding this item to the game. Soooo much better then having to build a temporary repair base just to fix a couple things on your CV.

Sorry to say but this sounds like an exploit to me. You should file a bug report with the devs.
