Space POI's Shields Resetting
I got the planet POI's shields finally figured out, but just tried to do the Zirax Space Agristation and shields keep coming back up. Is this intended? (Please God NO) and if so how do we run this POI?

Have plenty of ammo, set one turret to shoot at a generator. It should keep shooting at the POI hitting blocks. That should keep the shields from coming back up.

I've noticed that the hand-held railgun no longer does block damage, and rocket launchers will go through dozens if not hundreds of rounds to take out a single block, so why not give hand-held weapons 100% shield penetration?

Coring is obviously not the (dev) preferred method, and CVs and space based POIs don't have the dome generator that can be disabled from the outside. This would allow the attack craft to deal with a shielded <something> to disable its weapons and or engines while allowing a player to go in on foot and deal with sentries and the occasional locked door but unable to reasonably 'tunnel' through it.

edit: just player hand-held weapons, NPC ground troops already do more damage to vehicles than they should without them bypassing shields completely

I find that this is mostly a problem with admin core bases. I wish POI shields on those would permanently turn off when drained or be more easily disabled once you take it down the first time. It's annoying that need to have a turret ship parked outside set to continuously poke the base just so it doesn't regenerate while you are on foot

For ground bases it is required that you destroy the shield generator in order to disable the shield. The shield generator is the big glowy thing on top that makes the shield dome.

For space POIs, they're not admin cored. Destroy their shield generator too. The difference is that the current space POIs are older and don't have readily accessible shield generators. They're usually in fairly obvious locations.
Space POI shields have always regenerated. In both RE1 and Vanilla.

Feedback - As a single player, I do not like a POI having multiple cores. Feels like another mechanism to make the scenario harder for players. Thank you for your hard work so far.

Thanks for the feedback. Multiple cores are staying for the POIs and patrol vessels that need them.

Thanks for the feedback. Multiple cores are staying for the POIs and patrol vessels that need them.
What's the point of multiple cores in patrol vessels? Even if you take out the core/cores the PV will reappear in a minute or so, all new and shiny.

PPVs are set to not respawn in the scenario.
OPVs never respawn.
