why is this scam so popular
try to find a single mod that does NOT use Neo. its not so used because it is good, it is used because it is the only option for WorldBox modding, its not because it is even legit, just because it is a monopoly

have none of you guys tried to install it on GameBanana? or at least followed the instructions to a T?

I did it the manual way and it worked for me. just follow this: worldboxopenmods.gitbook.io/mod-tutorial-en/player-manual/install

it MIGHT be malware, but the only way to find out is to look in the mods code. wait, its a mod, the code can't be encrypted or else the folder can't be moved ( i do NOT know code so this might not be true)

Im not sure if you are joking or not but things like Neos mod loader which is the successor to NCMS (the old mod loader) basically just allow code to be injected into worldbox
