no it works, not any lag in game (except a short time for beginning an objective)

Simply a recommendation, textures and lighting may stream in slower on HDDs.

who still uses harddrives in 2023? SSDs are incredibly cheap now and should always be used, just use your HDD to store files on it, not boot from windows or load games from)

4TB is more than enough SSD space to have many games downloaded. You seem like you dont know what youre talking about.

Never use hard drives. They're outdated tech and have been so for almost a decade now. Running games on a HDD would be like trying to run modern games on a floppy disk lol

The total size of just my redownloadable games, not including retro games and other things that aren't on services like steam, exceeds 12TB. I also have this thing called a job, so I need to actually use some of my motherboard's drive capacity for something other than games, but it makes sense that this isn't a problem you would have. I must not know what I'm talking about? Sounds like tiny library coping to me <3

You sound even less like you understand what youre talking about after reading that lol. Maybe you like to have 3 modern cod games downloaded, which need 12TB each probably, but for 99% of people even 4TB is excessive for people with giant libraries of games. Also I guess it must not be a very good job, seeing as you apparently can't afford a modern drive. ;)
