My Thoughts on Slyph
So I want to start off by saying I really enjoy playing Sylph and really love the new hero concepts the dev is coming up with.

Anyways, imo i believe the strongest aspect of Sylph is her R+E combo or W+R+E, depending on the current kit build, everything basically focuses around E, Rapid Fire? It is by far the most interesting ability she has, and is clearly the strongest.
I really still do think she is pretty overpowered, considering an R+E or W+R+E combo can more or less take out ~5-10% of bosses health, assuming you land all of the shots.

Clearly I very much favor Sylphs E, Rapid Fire? I think her ult is in a good place, and I think her passive is solid!.
My biggest concerns obviously lie with the other 2 or 4 abilites.
I personally really enjoyed her first version of Q, where she would run in a line and attack. The current version is not very engaging, and is kind of a boring ability imo. Her current Q is also not as great as it could be, unless of course paired with cyclone.

So with this current build of sylph, the movement speed function of her kit seems lost, because nothing else is affected by movement speed. This current build seems much more focused around attack speed, whereas the previous build had more of a balance between attack speed and movement speed. Hopefully that makes sense.

I think in some regards Sylph has a bit of a split personality in that she kind of juggles between focusing on movement speed or focusing on attack speed.

Onto Cyclone, which may be the ability I have the most concern about. Imo i think it is WAY too op. The damage is solid but the push back is way too strong imo. I think there are a couple of solutions if you choose to listen to them.
1. remove the push back and replace it with a constant slow.
2. Possibly reduce the boss push back.

Perhaps maybe the cooldown should be longer. Even though the cooldown locks you out of the ability, the cooldown is so short that it doesnt even really matter.

Please take everything written here as merely my own personal opinion and is not a reflection of anyone else's opinion. I truly love this custom game I hope to continue to see it grow!

I enjoy reading this kind of critique a lot, feel free to keep doing this!
Obviously not every iteration of Sylph's skillbuild will be something you enjoy, which is why I'm rotating between the hero's skills weekly to give players a taste of every skill.
This week's build is a 100% dps oriented build, hence why I added the attackspeed, crit buff and rapid fire in there with Immaterialize existing for running away and escaping (Aerodynamic talent's knockback depends on movement speed as well by the way).
Cyclone's knockback is only strong if you invest into movement speed, as otherwise it only slows incoming enemies and its radius isn't that enormous to push every single enemy out of range; it does after all either exist for aggressive plays (popping Jetstream for speed buff and running into a group of enemies for strong knockback and damage) or to keep you alive by pushing melee attackers away

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for replying!!!

I am thinking about doing one of these for each of the new heroes, after I feel like I've gotten a hang of them + the second build comes out.

Go for it, any feedback helps me out
Also, all of the hero's skills are available on the custom lobby, I only work on a new hero when I fully finish the previous one; this means you can test out all 8 of shinigami/sylph/puppeteer's spells
same will happen with phoenix and all future heroes
