i will see if it is possible to put the difficulty notification to the hero select screen and I was already planning to add tooltips to the difficulty votes, but I will see if i can put a brief summary of them somewhere until I implement proper tooltips
Thank you for the feedback as it is actually useful, it's immensely helpful to get comments like these rather than the generic "a thing changed and i don't like it!"
The Updates text has disappeared for me.
I agree with Lenard comment about voting. I don't want to vote on the difficulty, I want to choose it.
Also it seems the difficulty has severly been buffed up with a lot more mobs in Impossible.. So far no success with team to win wave 1!, it seems even a bad idea to buy midas hammer first item like everyone did.
I have a feeling there might be too much mobs to handle
Don't buy midas in first 6 waves, because you can't get back your investment, and you need items for tank/dps in these waves. Choose caster/half caster heroes, most of them now are very powerful and can carry team. Those so-called right-click "carries", such as sniper, enchantress, drow are weak during hole game, but pub still like them.
Recommand some guys, doom,leschac, gyrocopter, build them in half tank half caster, you control the game
hard is the casual map, where mobs are weaker in general (legendary hard is always easier than legendary impossible)
upgrading midas items is going for lategame greedy over earlygame advantages which is why i changed it; it is no longer required from round 1; it is probably even a bad idea considering you need to have money to make money from the item.
also the idea of impossible is that you will need a well-rounded team to win (aka why it's hardcore mode)
Hosted a game, voted, all that stuff.
I start the game: difficulty is Normal, which is easy to beat. Nothing for me to do but leave the game...
I really don't like the voting system, it stops you from chosing the difficulty system.
Also with the new UI and Skills Tree maybe you want to have less difficulty to balance ;)
if midas idea are so bad to buy with gold to gain more gold, then why give it from 1st round like courriers as default that is more ez rather than added some twist on it.
and this is so silly as its sound... inside hard, there are normal, hard, hardcore, or whatever its... which on pub some random dudes want to do votes base on what they want and we end up with normal hard mode, make other copy paste map its a lot ez for players, and that recycling regenerated scripts inherent plus fixed buffs and extra buffs that random is sometimes way too OP for that round, causing chaostic without throwing some lives on that, maybe its because random and have no real logic behind it.
wishing a good game changer that make sense for future EBF.
