about the latest updates
First, thanks for the author and every developer who make and keep updating this map. I love this map and play it for long time (since last year). I really appreciate your work, thank you!

This time, the map has some big changes, a very good attempt. However, I feel more inconvenient when i play in the pubgame.

About the vote system: there is no description about the difference among different difficulties during the vote. People don't know what they are really voting. So most players just choose the default, and the other players can't get into the difficulty they want. The second point is that players don't know the exact difficulty until they finish picking heroes. For example, when I play a easier level, I can pick any hero I want. If I am in a harder level, I need to consider the team build and change my picking strategy. Now, I can't do this since I don't know the vote result until the game begins.

About the midas items : now the midas interest are calculated individually, that's good. everyone can choose the right time to buy and upgrade midas. But i really like the last version, that midas items can be integrated into divine armor and divine core. For heroes who don't need the midas furry nor wicked furry, such as tank and caster, they face a hard choice: give up a slot for midas. or give up money for other necessary items in late game.

About the elites passive: I have to say that some boss with some passive is over powerful, and players don't have effective way to counter these passive. Some examples: the dragons (high AS and long range) with stun, NEC(half map attack range) with sweep/stun/piercing, the golem (high attack, long range, splash, true strike) with piercing, the evil egg with unstable passive. In these examples, the combination of the passive and the boss ability can crush most hero and destroy their team. The bad news is that players don't have a good solution to counter them and have to give up a life. Now, in the hardest level, elites have two passive, which means we need an effective and general way to deal with them. My idea is to give the silver blade an upgrade line, like what you did for the blade mail.

building a single midas fury+ grants everyone on your team the interest, so as long as one of your dps heroes gets it you're all set as midas fury is a pretty bad upgrade overall, not really boosting overall dps much (unstable stone almost gives the same benefits for a margin of the cost.)

i will see if it is possible to put the difficulty notification to the hero select screen and I was already planning to add tooltips to the difficulty votes, but I will see if i can put a brief summary of them somewhere until I implement proper tooltips

Thank you for the feedback as it is actually useful, it's immensely helpful to get comments like these rather than the generic "a thing changed and i don't like it!"

Nice to see yet another new update!

The Updates text has disappeared for me.

I agree with Lenard comment about voting. I don't want to vote on the difficulty, I want to choose it.

I don't understand why you select Hard or Impossible and then vote on difficulty in the map.

Also it seems the difficulty has severly been buffed up with a lot more mobs in Impossible.. So far no success with team to win wave 1!, it seems even a bad idea to buy midas hammer first item like everyone did.

I have a feeling there might be too much mobs to handle

Don't buy midas in first 6 waves, because you can't get back your investment, and you need items for tank/dps in these waves. Choose caster/half caster heroes, most of them now are very powerful and can carry team. Those so-called right-click "carries", such as sniper, enchantress, drow are weak during hole game, but pub still like them.

Recommand some guys, doom,leschac, gyrocopter, build them in half tank half caster, you control the game

hard and impossible have inherent differences tied to the map (different creeps spawn and different amounts) like before; picking heroic chances impossible to challenger (mob amount is increased)
hard is the casual map, where mobs are weaker in general (legendary hard is always easier than legendary impossible)
upgrading midas items is going for lategame greedy over earlygame advantages which is why i changed it; it is no longer required from round 1; it is probably even a bad idea considering you need to have money to make money from the item.
also the idea of impossible is that you will need a well-rounded team to win (aka why it's hardcore mode)

Liking the new things a lot except for the 5 player limit on impossible runs. I did challenger a lot so I got used to 1-3 people leaving (it happens normally) and carrying on the game with less members. Now, people leaving has a bigger impact than it used to.

I'm trying to do a challenger legendary run.

Hosted a game, voted, all that stuff.

I start the game: difficulty is Normal, which is easy to beat. Nothing for me to do but leave the game...


I really don't like the voting system, it stops you from chosing the difficulty system.


Also with the new UI and Skills Tree maybe you want to have less difficulty to balance ;)

if midas idea are so bad to buy with gold to gain more gold, then why give it from 1st round like courriers as default that is more ez rather than added some twist on it.

and this is so silly as its sound... inside hard, there are normal, hard, hardcore, or whatever its... which on pub some random dudes want to do votes base on what they want and we end up with normal hard mode, make other copy paste map its a lot ez for players, and that recycling regenerated scripts inherent plus fixed buffs and extra buffs that random is sometimes way too OP for that round, causing chaostic without throwing some lives on that, maybe its because random and have no real logic behind it.
wishing a good game changer that make sense for future EBF.
