Bug Reports
Report bugs here, and here only. Only report bugs related to Vanilla Vehicles Expanded. Bugs related to Vehicles Framework should be reported using proper channels outlined on the Framework steam workshop page.

Make it as easy for us as possible. Include Hugslib logs. Explain what you expected to happen and what happened instead. Help us, and we will help you! Only report issues related to Tier 3 vehicles in this discussion.

Restoring an IFV or Hermano does not unlock their respective techs. Restoring an LAV or a Big Rig does unlock the IFV and Hermano though, so this bug only partially breaks the tech.

I experienced the exact same thing. The first Tier 3 vehicle I tried with, was quite disappointing.

I use a fairly extensive list, so conflicts should be visible as well. But I'm a tech dummy, so I have no clue which mod is responsible for one error or the other.
If anyone can tell me who to inform, I'll let them know.

Please update your VVE mod, we have fixed the issue yesterday.

oh sorry, i should expand upon what broke: the heli was full of trash, it I forgot about it and it started dissolving so I refilled it and few more dissolved just before takeoff, it took of like 3 feet above air then it got stuck and every tick an error logged. The sound of taking of was still there tho (the heli got superstuck, like, not even the blade animation was on)

Doesn't sound like an issue of Louie in particular, but an issue with Vehicles Framework. Please report it there.

Probably been mentioned before, but the Big Rig has the description of the Nomad both in the research menu and in the game world proper. Nothing game-breaking, but worth mentioning IMHO ^^.

Dont think theres anything I could even pull, but the big rig seems to have trouble going through 1x5 doors in a hallway, is this because the mod is accounting for it 'turning' rather than an instant flick around by chance?

Oddly, it just started doing this now, it could path in and out just fine before as long as i sent it to the spot its in currently

For me, after I researched Marshall, It appeared in structures... and then when I tried to place it the game basically stopped working, I can move my mouse and the blueprint of Marshall, but I can't place it, nor can I stop this action, the only way is to alt f4 the game and go back to last save, game-breaking bug.

Apparently the wreck salvaging restriction to research can be bypassed by using ResearchPowl. I then test using the vanilla research tree and it is properly locked there.

Also I just discovered that ResearchPowl itself is already discontinued so probably no need to fiddle with it. I might try it again with Research Tree (Continued) by Mlie later and see if I can bypass it as well.

Edit: Research Tree mod page mentioned that the VVF Tier 3 research restriction has already been implemented in the latest version.

I can't make a caravan with the Mosquito or the Louie. The Mosquito doesn't appear as an option at all in the 'Form Vehicle Caravan' menu and the Louie appears in the menu, but can't be selected as it just says "Unable to Move" when I mouse over the button to add the vehicle. Both Helicopters function fine when launched using the 'Launch' button but they lose the convenient cargo functionality that caravan's have.

Hi, I found a REALLY weird bug and it took me a while to finally find out that wth was causing it. Don't know if the problem is on the framework or this mod in particular, but since I'm driving the Nomad, I'll post it here.

TL;DR: The path the car takes somehow messes up the line of sight on that area.


Scenario & Problem: A raid is comming and after positioning everyone behind the embrasures, I take someone to drive the car to a safe area, because it was inside the killbox zone. After the raiders comes into sight, the pawns try to aim but suddenly stops and don't shoot, as if I dont have a clear Line of Sight to shoot, but the raiders CAN shoot back. After a few hours doing some tests on wth could possible be wrong, I noticed that the path that the Nomad takes to leave the area, is the exact same area that the line of sight gets blocked. Not sure how long that Blockage stays but reloading a save file fixes the problem.
