Oh. Warp shenanigans.
Alternatively: a wizard did it.
Gerik will be added sometime soon as well!
"Yes, but in season 4 episode 28-"
"Wizard."
"Oh for cryin' out glavin'.."
The onyl ones I see are Karak Azul, Red Fang and Skaeling, so there is hope that things would not conflict with each other TOO much
Of the finished factions, I think Cothique (very tall factions, excels at trait hunting), Septic Claw (tall, mercenaries), and Spirits of Shanlin are probably the most obviously unique.
Drackla Coven (Dark Elves with several Tzeentch units), Barak Varr (Dwarfs with special building upgrades and a trade focus), Black Pit (greenskins who can be friendly with Order), Wyrmkins (Norscans who are much less chaos-ey), and Strygos (friendly-ish vampire counts with a decent number of gun units) are also pretty unique for their faction.
Including unfinished factions, Greybeard's Prospectors is one I'm super proud of, I just need to get the invasion mechanic finished for them to be done.
Good idea! I tried to set it up to where it was only a small malus that could be overcome, but the AI can be....... interesting. A small relations boost wouldn't hurt anything.
I've been playing with Septic Claw but yeah, after the initial battle (very cool and thematic) the game ended up really similar to any nurgle factions, tzeencht hates me and declared me war asap anyway. A porting of the Ogre mechanic for contract would be a huge task i imagine? Bc i haven't really felt the difference.
I've tried Spirit of the Shanlin and i love the idea too, but i've faced a bug where razing the nearby settlement gave me just +1 and not +4 for the forest healing, but i'm playing with tons of mod and maybe there is something in conflict, just signaling btw
And thx again <3
