Hey, the mod is already incredible. One of the best. My suggestion is to make the map bigger. I know that's daunting and probably not realistic for now, but being able to involve Syrian and Armenian conflicts, Central Asian relations for RU, more Western Nations that UKR might have to maintain relations with (public image as well) Also Partisans of some kind, leakers and whistleblowers. Pro-RU who leak supply locations, etc.

Hi, very interesting MOD...good job guys.
I'm trying it and at the moment I can suggest this:
1. Equipment: I would put specific images for all types of weapons present (AK-12, BTR82 etc....)
2. for Ukraine I would remove the NATO weapons and assets leaving only those from the Soviet era. For NATO weapons there should be the possibility for Ukraine to purchase or receive them through Focus.
These are probably all things you already have on your list but in the meantime I'll tell you.
Also take a look at the East Showdawn mod for ideas. HI

First off, thank you for developing this awesome mod! Honestly, this is the best mod yet that depicts the Russian-Ukrainian war! I'm looking forward to seeing it further developed. Now for my suggestion.

Would it be possible to include the effects of more ideological groups on various nations, particularly the anarchists? IRL a number of the people on the Ukrainian side whether it be as militias, humanitarian groups, or partisans are explicitly anarchists (even if they don't get as much publicity as the nationalist groups).

I know there is the decision to make as Ukraine as to whether-or-not you will embrace or sideline the fascists. Could you add something similar for the anarchists, as to whether-or-not you choose to embrace the anarchists on your side, or keep them at arms length?

We have considered it, but we have decided against overhauling the map for two main reasons:

1) It would require us to totally redo VPs, state names, state triggers, flags, the occupation system, etc.

2) It would take the focus away from the Russia Ukraine war, which would hurt gameplay

Aside from that, thank you for your compliments, your kind words mean a lot to us all - hope you have a nice day!

Irl the anarchists in Ukraine amount to a very small faction, but they are playable in game. Choose 'dishonour before death' then go to no garrison to collapse quickly, where you can play as anarchists (good luck tho).

I like your suggestion. When we do the anarchist tree (in 2050), we definitely will add an event or something that will determine their strength should Ukraine later collapse. Anarchia mama, synov sveikh lyubit!

I propose removing neutral countries like serbia, kosovo, hungary etc. Or maybe creating one country "NATO" with potential on it's own focus tree. Because right now slovakia have over 100 divisions with no reason which makes big lags.

Also i think that adding another layers of ideologies would hurt mod. It's not Millenium Dawn but an Ukrainan war so I think that you should dedicate new patches to only improve and develop the war itself.

That's just my opinion, mod right now is great but can be even greater so thank you

Please change the Czech leader and ruling party in 2022 start.
It wasn't Jiří Rusnok (ČSSD), but Petr Fiala (ODS).

I know it's a small feature.

Ukraine should have some sort of "rampant corruption" national spirit similar to the oligarch spirit of Russia. Also Ukraine needs some sort of draft dodging spirit or emigration spirit, since 2 million Ukrainians alone escaped to Poland since the war and many more are following. My family frequently drives busses between Germany and Poland. 90% of the occupants are young military able Ukrainians.

First of all, amazing mod, it's really something unique to the HOI4 modding landscape. Second of all, dynamic names for the states and VPs for when Russia/Ukraine takes a city would be amazing. For example, Bakhmut to Artemivsk. I know it would be a huge undertaking but it would be very interesting to show Russian influence via city and state names.

Unique equipment names please this is the only thing missing for me.

Yes, that is the starting tree, after the invasion of crimea begins a new focus tree will appear.

Have a small tile in Poland for a US military base and another for a UK military base. The US and UK should have a focus tree where they give aid to Ukraine instead of it being an automatic mechanic. Russia should start the game with bomber tech researched and with ~120 strat bombers because irl they have that many bombers and have used them in this war. Also add a way for Russia to move their Baltic fleet into the Black sea and vice versa.

There should be a province button like vanilla nuclear bombs but using a MLRS to simulate HIMARS strikes on airfields and supply hubs
