The Old Realms - Core (Season of Doom)
Is This Mod Playable on Medium Graphics Settings?
Hello,

I have been playing this mod on Very High and High graphics settings but get a framerate in the 20s usually. I wanted to drop it down to the medium preset and turn down or off some of the other graphics settings like lighting and bloom, etc.

But when I do that and relaunch the mod it hangs on the loading screen. Just sits there for minutes. Is it entirely rebuilding the shader like first time setup or is there an issue with lower graphic settings?

Thanks

Should be possible yeah, but set terrain quality and streaming texture budget to very high

Thanks, I was actually able to run it with Terrain Quality set to Medium and Texture Streaming Budget set to High. I think the issue for me was Shader Quality, Texture Quality or Texture Streaming Budget being set to Medium. I went through and set every other option to medium and restarted with no issues but stopped as I felt like the lucky streak of the game not crashing was about to wain when I got to those last 3 options.

Tangent: I found a bug with the Mousillion Knight Career Talent that gives +10 Companion capacity. It says 10 but actually gives 20. So the player has 27 companions can clan tier 4, which for me meant 80% necromancers because I get really high necromancer spawn rates in taverns.

The game DOES NOT work with 1200+ skeletons in a battle. Pretty consistent crashes with that sadly. Looks very cool though.

Yes the game has a hard cap. Will crash over that limit same as the battle size mod.

Keep in mind you might crash in certain scenes when texture streaming budget is not set to very high
