Hello i love the mod and have been playing it for a long time, just want to report that the game crashes when i enter battle as a hireling from time to time,and i don't have any mods installed other from the TOR mods.

I'll try. On another note, for some reason the game only spawns melee troops on my side (the game is set to "homogeneous"). This means that I now have to fight chaos warriors in a bottle neck with essentially state troops, while my 200+ handgunners play cards in the army camp.....

Hi, first of all, this mod is absolutely stunning, amazing work people, keep it up! I'm having a blast


That said, I don't know if this is a common issue, but I'm at my first siege and my men refuse to operate siege equipment. I know the problem isn't universal because the chaos warriors inside do operate their catapults if they have them, but my imperial troops are absolutely incapable of pushing siege towers, or operating trebuches. All they do is stand around, or push the battering ram into the first gate (but then run back and refuse to attack the second gate)

@Shinard696 If you did the shader workaround that can happen yeah but only at first. It fixes itself as it loads and caches all shaders.

@EduardGames those catagories should not be visible and is a bug. Will be fixed.

Good evening or good morning, I managed to calm down this Windows backup program. The mod is working fine. I just had one funny little thing happen with the skeleton units; they had something that looked like they were wearing masks, but then it disappeared. So I imagine it was loading and that's what caused it, but it was funny; it looked like a human was trying to infiltrate an army of skeletons.

Author I started the mod again using the Right version now, v1.2.11, so The Dual Weapons craft is not working all, and Monsters Weapons too, is saying that weapons is too large, the orthers Mod Weapons is working normal

All things is working fine, only the Forge is bugged, is saying sword is too long, something like that, on Error Message, New Crafts are not working , this is the bug, the rest of the mod is working well, but I will not play cause I will have a uncompleted expirience, and I know that can be a bug on my pc, by the way Thank you for a Very good mod, Good Work Dudes

The bug is related to Forge and New Crafts TOR-Lances, is apearing that is not working fine, is showing 'wrong text id' one print could help you, I don't know why happened this, I will reinstall Equipments depedence mod

To be more precise, it's not really a Windows program, but it comes from older computers, like those from the 80s. It's a backup program for deleted files so they aren't completely lost. Even though it's modernized now, it can still do this kind of thing because on computers, Windows always has the final say, even if Steam says everything is fine. So most of the time, Windows will listen, but sometimes Windows will override this backup program. In short, it's not the mod's fault or Windows' fault because this program is just doing what it's supposed to do.

I found the little rascal that was messing things up: it's Windows and that old backup program. To sum it up, I launch the game, everything goes well except for the fateful moment when the game loads the shaders. When you do the little (not mandatory) manipulation to speed up the mod, Windows thinks, "Isn't something missing? Wait, I'll put it back." But it's not like I put it back in the game's folders; no, I keep it. But the thing is, Windows, with its backup program, is acting up. It's not a good idea to mess around with it because it's one of the important folders in the Windows program. I noticed it when I launched the game with the Task Manager open to see what that rascal Windows was doing. And the funniest thing is that it blames the mod for messing things up. PS: No, it's not funny because when you check the folders, everything is normal. I thought I'd do a complete checkup, but strangely enough, Windows and Steam say it's the mod, but it's not at all.

Okay, to start, I'd like to say sorry, but I think I've found the problem. It's not the shader manipulation, nor is it the mod's appearance additions like beastmen or the undead. I think I've found the two things that are causing the game to completely stop working, and it's Windows and Steam combined. I think it has to do with their backup saves, which are acting up and trying to reset the shaders to default or something like that. I'm still verifying this, but would it be possible if anyone else has had this problem with Windows and Steam backup saves? The only weird thing is that they both say the mod is the problem, but I think it's both of them that are messing things up.

Yeah, our apologies. I would avoid vanilla quests in TOR for now, as compensation we have left in armors that are way more worth to sell then they normally should be, so you can earn gold much faster that way

@Ibin Yes that horse is removed, might be a tournament reward but in no way easily accessible. We need to adjust some of the vanilla quests.

So there's 10 of you and none of you ever asked for help? Sounds logical.

Source of corruption? lol.... You must really think we dont play TOR ourselves, nor the 40k members on our discord or the 180k+ people subscribed on workshop, i'm sure they all have the same issues you do.. oh wait. They dont.

You just seem butthurt because you can't get it to work and then blame TOR for your own mistake of deleting something you shouldn't have.

We are fully aware of certain crashes under specific conditions ( all ingame though ) and many avoidable due to our career system, freezes are normal in TOR due to shaders.

None of those are the crashes you have, those are specific to you and nothing to do with TOR.

If you dont ask for help then you'll never figure it out, but i'm done here since you seem dead set on blaming TOR, there's nothing more to say.

One question bro, did you remove the "steppe hunters" warhorse from the game ?
Cause i've been trying to find at least 3 to complete the quests involving 3 steppe hunters from vampire counts , manfred or i don't remember what other character gave me this qust.
I have been searching all races, all fiefs, all cities and towns that sell horses...... and i haven't found 1... not even 1 steppe hunter horse...... in the encyclopedia there is the description, but where is the horse......

I followed the instructions, they're not complicated, but it's easier to say people don't follow instructions. I've already played with even older mods that have never been updated, and strangely enough, I never had a problem. But hey, it's easier to say people make mistakes than to admit giving dangerous information that completely ruins people's games. And for your information, I did a complete check of the files and everything. Your mod is the source of the corruption, unless you're telling me that Windows, Windows Guard, and Steam are talking nonsense. So stop making excuses for your rotten and dangerous mod. You just have to go on YouTube; there are many videos where people play your mod and have problems like crashes or freezes. And to be sure, several friends tried your mod and they had the same problem. So stop making excuses; there are at least 10 of us who have this problem.

@Shinard696 That isnt part of the installation instructions, but a workaround provided for people that dont want to wait,completely optional and not mandatory to play TOR. If you dont follow the steps exactly as described, you will ♥♥♥♥ up your game.

Follow them exactly as stated, and there is no issue, i know because i use them myself and never had any.

Also help me? I offered to help YOU, i'm not in any need of help, thanks though.

The mod didnt do any damage lol, you did it yourself by deleting something you shouldn't have.

Okay, so in your mod description, in the section about fixing loading times, you manipulated the shader folders. The game didn't like that at all, and I can't play it anymore. Is this some kind of folder manipulation, or am I smoking some kind of weed? This kind of manipulation can lead to folder corruption, but anyway, it's definitely not folder manipulation. So, I'm all for anything, but you need to stop treating people like idiots and playing with words. And P.S., I absolutely don't want to help you. Your mod has already done enough damage; I don't need any more chaos than that.

@Shinard696 Yes we are still working on our latest update, thats why it hasnt been updated since.

Recommended version is 1.2.11 as per the installation instructions, so not latest.

As i said, TOR is a mod, it does not change, alter or replace vanilla files in any way, it cannot cause the main game to suddenly stop working.

Also not sure why you keep saying you followed installation instructions? For the workshop mod there's nothing to do besides clicking subscribe and thats it. You adjust load order if needed and press play.

I have the latest version of the game, not 1.3, but strangely enough, I followed the instructions in the mod description to make it work, but aside from messing things up and preventing me from playing the game, this mod was completely useless. But of course, it's people's fault for following the instructions for a mod that hasn't been updated since October 2024, which is a year ago.
