Season of Doom patch 1

NOTE: NUMEROUS FIXES OF THIS PATCH WILL REQUIRE A NEW GAME START!

New content:
  • Defeated Clans can now of join living Kingdoms of the same culture.
  • Added a new Regiment of Renown – Nordland Mariners.
  • Added unique rewards to Herdstone, Chaos Portal, and Druchii Slaver’s Bay battles.

Faction balancing:
  • Added harmony upgrade cost for Wood elf units
  • Increased the size of armies guarding Herdstones, Chaos Portals, and Druchii Slaver’s Bay
  • Dark Energy:
    Added a passive daily income of Dark Energy (Dark Tribute) for every faction owned castle or town. 2 for every castle, 3 for every town. The bonus is doubled if the settlements are owned by the player.
    Dark Energy wages are reduced by 50% as long the player is part of a uncontrolled army.
  • Foreign Mercenaries expenses are not shared with the player anymore, as long as the player is not the owner of the kingdom.
  • Updated party templates for Bretonnia, Blood Dragons and Mousillon to allow for larger cavalry amounts.

Unit balancing:
  • Removed damage amplifier from wolf kin and wolf brother units.
  • Added more damage to Knight of the White wolf and Teutogen guard.
  • Added more wardsave to Knights of the Black Grail, Grail Knights, Blood dragon templar/kastelan.
  • Added more physical resist for Drakenhof Kastelan/Templar.
  • Added magical damage for Wraith units.
  • Added missing arrow quivers to Empire archer units.
  • Re-assigned bows and quivers to Brettonian and Empire archers units and RoR’s.
  • Numerous cost adjustments for Culture Specific resources in terms of upgrade and upkeep costs.
  • Bretonnian Grail Knights given tougher armor.
  • Nerf to missile damage and missile speed of Asrai bows.
  • Griffon Initiates received a new, nerfed equipment sets (no Prestige workaround for elite units)
  • Reiksguard RoR replaced with Noble Empire Cavalry units (no Prestige workaround for elite units)
Crash fixes:
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when the player character was killed when it was in slowmo with the spell wheel or spell targeting mode.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when the player was a hireling in a lord’s army that was attacked while raiding a village.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred in hideouts while the boss fight was initiated with the necromancer career’s harbinger.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when the player retreated from the graveyard fight.
  • Fixed Grail Knight career final perk crashing the game when the Career Ability was used together with numerous companions.

Bug fixes:
  • Fixed a bug which allowed to convert unorthodox units (Treemen, Dryads, Minotaurs etc.) into companions.
  • Fixed Mousillon Knight and Blood Knight careers unable to defile human shrines.
  • Fixed Necromancer companion features (Dark Energy related) of Mousillon Knight and Blood Knight careers.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed the upgrade of units with special resource requirements without actually having the required amount of resource / currency.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed to gain Faith experience repeatedly by switching screens while praying at shrines.
  • Fixed some lords (including the player) being hidden in the encyclopedia.
  • Fixed the career passive “Hunt the Wicked” increasing wages instead of decreasing them.
  • Fixed Necrarchs wrongfully having access to High Magic.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred in large battles when using the Bretonnian Knight career’s Knightly Charge ability while having the Holy Crusader tree maxed.
  • Fixed the Morrslieb event not actually resetting the Herdstones and the Chaos Portal.
  • Fixed high Charm skill breaking some conversations with the Envoys in Tor Lithanel.
  • Fixed a bug that showed the wrong skill training text while doing hireling activities.
  • Fixed a bug which made the player pay for mercenary contracts of the kingdom he’s part of.
  • Fixed numerous spelling mistakes.
  • Fixed AI wizard lords unable to regen WoM due to heavy armor
  • Fixed “Ariel’s Blessing” perk of the Spellsinger Career

  • Hautmont City : Fix siege layer - Fix soft lock after a siege
  • Castle Oisillon : Fix siege layer

Battle Maps :
  • TOR_Battle_Ancient_Dragon : fix missing texture at winter, fix lighting leak in the dragon skull
  • TOR_Battle_parravon_farm: Reduce the heigth of the hedge flora, add tactical position and region
  • TOR_Blood_Pine_Woods : Fix missing texture for spring, fall and winter
  • TOR_Bretonnian_city_01 : fix spawn issue, remove roof at def siege engine, fix ladders, enlarge wall for more troops
  • TOR_Battle_shrine_of_ill_omen : fix navmesh on cliff, add invisible wall to prevent stuck troops and player, add regional and tactical positions
  • TOR_Eonir_Tavern_01 : remove dev volume box
  • TOR_Eonir_keep_001 : fix lighting leak and polish the corridors, changed the gate, fix some navmesh issues, fix missing collisions
  • TOR_Eonir_city_01 : Siege layer fix : fix issue with ladders, fix issue with siege tower, breach issue
  • TOR_Empire_Village_004: Fix spawn too close to the soft border

Balancing
- "Flock of Doom" now has a cooldown of 25 seconds and costs 20 Winds of magic
- "Curse Of Anraheir" now has a cooldown of 20 Seconds and costs 15 Winds of magic
