Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

The Old Realms - Core (Season of Doom)
Necrach's Blast of Agony range reduced with target seeking
The regular Blast of Agony is used like a regular fireball, with a good range. The useful career talent "Increases impact damage of netherball by 25%. The Projectile is now target seeking." however, does reduce the effective range considerably ( less than half ? A third ? ), making the talent not an upgrade, but quite a tradeoff. I was wondeing if that was intentionnal ?

In what way do you mean it reduces range ? As in before you can lock on, or that when you do it doesnt travel as far ?

My apologies, i should have been clearer. I indeed meant the lock on maximum distance limits the use compared to a dumb launch.

Dumb launch, same as a regular fireball: https://ibb.co/rR3sJTD7

smart launch, how far they got i could get an intermittent lock, constantly passing the aiming sight on the massed troops, that didn't allow me to fire untim they advanced a good 15 more paces.
